Completely agree, true fans should support the artists and their decisions, not want to control and stifle them. Heeseung is a creative artist who wants to live a different life, let him be instead of conjuring up ridiculous conspiracy theories and attacking everyone connected to him, sigh

LOL Jang Yijeong the man you are 🤣🤣 but also what were those people expecting him to do about this??? Baffling behavior.

  3. So we are just gonna blame everyone associated with big hit music? Is that what mature people do? Since when does a producer/friend have more influence over Heeseung’s decision than Heeseung himself? I’m sad at the fact that Heeseung left just as much as the next fan but Yi Jeong aka EL CAPITXN (sry I’m a fan of his and have only called him by his real name) is right. He shouldn’t be blamed. He didn’t do anything. He works for the same company that ENHYPEN works for just as a producer, songwriter and DJ. He doesn’t get a say in who stays in a group and who goes. I hate that Heeseung left but he would want us to respect his decisions as an artist even if we don’t like the decision of him leaving. I respect his decision. I want everyone involved to be happy in their professional and personal lives. That’s what fans do. Support the artist and their decisions even if we don’t agree with them.

  4. Truth. It is understandable fans are upset but to then jump to assumptions and all these theories unchecked and swarm other artists to blame or expect their action – it is just  a bit crazy at this point.

Fans trying to force him back in the group through guilt tripping and harassment is kinda exactly what I expected…These statements have been as clear as can be I fear.

Bahahaha I love a toxic stan coming up against the wall that is a dude who does NOT have to deal with idol etiquette nonsense.

A large amount of Engenes are completely out of control at the moment. Between the protests and the trucks, hassling every fandom they can think of and hassling people like El Capitxn, it’s going too far. I was looking through El’s comments on his post and there’s a lot of fans saying truly awful things to him.

I feel sorry for Heesung and the Enhypen members. They deserve better than the behaviour that’s happened over the last couple of days. It’s a hard time for them too and so many fans are just making it worse.

  8. I get that Engenes are upset but harassing people who have no involvement in the decision making process is not the move.

  9. atinyujungbit on

why did they have to get yijeong involved?? reading the comments here people were HARASSING him over this? Leave him alone omg ….

  10. Cucugeniality on

some kpop stans claim they want their faves to be happy and choose their own paths yet when an idol chooses something else cause they are currently unhappy with what they’re doing they throw a fit. you cannot win

  11. I mean, are we surprised? Don’t go harassing people unless you want that response. Spamming people about it isn’t going to bring Heeseung back.

  12. “May you always walk on the flower road. . . . . but only on the path that we specifically planted for you! Don’t you dare step outside or else we’ll harass the ever living shit out of your friends and anyone remotely related to you!” lol

  13. This whole situation is just another look into how certain “kpop fans” expect that their idols dedicate their whole lives to just being an idol and living up to their delusional expectations. This is why idols can’t date or have normal lives. Heeseung did take the more non traditional route of flat out leaving the group for whatever personal reasons he has and it’s disappointing but let him live. He’s gonna do what’s best for him. People are too much.

Some engenes should really be ashamed of their behavior, literally everyone involved has stated he wanted to go solo and this was the only way it could happen. It makes zero sense for Belift to kick out one of their most profitable idols to force them to go solo and possibly ruin group sales for what?

A debut album that might sell half or 2/3rds of what the group does? Let’s stop these conspiracy theories that Belift would ruin their own bottom line out of some hatred for him and accept that he wanted to do his own thing. He wants to be a soloist not a boy group member and you cannot force him to go back by signing petitions and harassing staff and sending trucks to the label.

From hybe artists and their fandoms, to staff, to any producer, choreographer, stylist or photographer who has ever worked with or interviewed enhypen, they’re all getting spammed and harrassed. nobody is safe. That’s how far engenes are taking it.

  16. whatsthisanotherdoor on

ENGENEs have always been…overzealous, but this is really taking it too far.

Don’t harass people who have literally nothing to do with any of this.

  17. Not sure what reaction anyone thought they were going to get out of him. He’s well past his days of managing an idol image and he doesn’t have to take their abuse quietly. Proud of him for pushing back and saying what a lot of people close to this situation are likely thinking and can’t say.

  18. The article is written so politely that despite the “expletive-filled” warning, I got whiplash at the first sentence lmaoooo

    > Stop sending me stories about Lee Heeseung, you fucking bastards. Fuck, it’s okay for the kid to do what he did. If you guys are true fans, embrace him first rather than throwing stones. Why do you keep blaming me, you stupid bastards?

  19. Honestly embarrassing and I feel so bad for Heeseung since he’s close with him, imagine what an awkward position he’s in and his `fans` are sending dt’s to his friend and blaming him when he’s the one who wanted a solo career, good on him for sticking up for himself in the best way😅

  20. Thats a real friend right there! The toxic parasocial fans NEEDED to hear this and put an end to all the conspiracy theory bullshit. for real I do not understand why people cannot accept heeseung may have wanted a different path for himself. Even if it means the end of an era, we should respect his wishes.

  21. they wrote their requests to sign the petition even under max verstappen’s posts on instagram.👁👄👁 it’s unbelievable what kind of psychosis has taken hold there that they are reaching out to everyone without seeing how much they are harming the person they are supposedly fighting for ( against his will ) and enhypen.

  22. ThrowsAway-99 on

I’m genuinely curious what fans think these other unrelated parties can even do? The only involved parties are Enhypen, Belift, and Heeseung. When you’re not looking at it with biased or conspiracy tinted eyes, the whole situation reads that it was Heeseung’s own decision like my literal first reaction was thinking that going solo was probably his ultimate goal. The begging they’re doing to bigger fandoms won’t give even senior powerhouses like BTS or Seventeen the power to work over another label’s decisions. Did they want this guy as a friend to talk Heeseung out of leaving the group? What a joke it is to claim you respect your idol then. I have to wonder if Heeseung’s embarrassed if not incredibly heartbroken that his own fans are refusing his own choice so adamantly and horribly.

  23. At what point do fans realize this is a toxic, abusive dynamic? You literally want to hold somebody hostage to whatever you want and expect from them? These are real people with their own wants and desires in life. Fans want to sit there and write essays about how “they’ll be so supportive if” and “I just want x to be happy” but what it actually boils down to is I’ll be supportive under these specific conditions and I want you to be happy MY way. They’re acting like they know him personally, own his life, and are owed an unfiltered access into every aspect of it. I really hope Heeseung is ok. Thinking of him witnessing all the fallout and feeling responsible makes me feel a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach.

  24. yesterday i felt bad for engenes. today, i still feel for them but a lot less so. it’s one thing to overreact at first to such shocking news, but to keep that ball rolling and harass other artists in the industry and beyond…yeah that’s a special kind of obsessed that has gone too far.

just accept the fact that heeseung wanted to take his career in his own hands and either support him or don’t???????

  25. Engenes are just making it worse for Heeseung. Making him feel bad about it.

Maybe, maybe, just maybe, listen to him, to Heeseung.

  26. They must be kids doing this right? Who don’t understand that these tactics won’t work, the decision is done, reasons have been given by all parties, no other idol or musician or 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon connection is going to change that – adults would know that, right???

  27. Him being solo and feeling happy is much better than him being in a group and feeling like he missed out on something. That departure could bring both parties great opportunities you never know

  28. Chris_Singadia99 on

Heeseung probably looks at these so-called ‘”fans” in disgust. Let the man live ffs.

  29. JustAPerson-_- on

Engenes are blowing his departure way out of proportion. I was also astonished by it seeing as it was so abrupt but it’s also like..if he left because it was truly his decision..please just let it happen. They’re not teens anymore. They’re adults and can make their own decisions. Listen to Heeseung if you love him so much. Stop making him feel bad and making the situation worse. This is so abusive and toxic to Hee plus the members of Enha to where I feel like he’ll be forced back into the group or it’ll turn out bad in some way.

    > If you guys are true fans, embrace him first rather than throwing stones

That won’t stop me because I can’t read

  31. For real, people need to stop analyzing everything.. saw some unhinged people pull out their “i have experience with PR so i know these statements are just hiding stuff that happened between him and the company” cards, like???? Maybe nothing happened and he just has a personal reason that they won’t disclose? Idk I know companies are companies after all, but it’s not that crazy to think they do something for the happiness of their artists sometimes

  32. More_Chapter5656 on

the company is this close to making heeseung go live and apologize for their fans

  33. Fair-Morning-9874 on

Why is it so hard for Engenes to accept that Heeseung just wanted to leave the group? Not everything is a conspiracy theory. No one forced him out.

If Engenes actually paid attention to Heeseung, they’d know how passionate he is about music. He probably just wants the whole package of a soloist where he can tour and travel to work with other writers/producers.
