To be perfectly honest i was extremely disappointed how badly the entire K-Pop Demon Hunters team was treated by the academy.
Which in both cases during their Best Animated feature win. Along with their best Orgional Song win. Both of which were abruptly cut off during their acceptance speeches.
It is completely unacceptable for award winners to be treated this way. When unnecessary and frankly stupid skits got extra time.
In both cases this felt highly discriminatory and even the auidance gave boos. They were later given the opportunity to finish their speeches backstage but I feel this was clearly targeted.
Regardless congrats to EJae, HUNTR/X and the entire K-Pop Demon Hunters team. We won’t like the academy ruin this historic achievement! Way to represent ladies! 🙂
