So Amsterdam was my first K-Pop show, and first concert overall, and I was honestly a bit uncertain how much I would be into it. But those thoughts were blown away immediately as the girls came out. I had the privilege of being at the soundcheck, and I just had this big fat grin plastered on my face the entire time. It was probably a little bit unsettling to them to be honest πŸ˜… And when the main show started, it was just great vibes throughout the entire thing. The live band (of my god they were amazing!), live singing, all the little ad-libs and small alterations to the songs, the energy of the performances and choreography, the outfits and interactions with fans. All of it amazing. Some songs also had a completely different impact when performed live. Paxxword and Young, dumb, stupid in particular were songs that I didn't really listen to a lot before, but the energy during these was just incredibly high and it felt like the crowd were pulled into it as well. I'll always imagine the performances of those in my head when I listen to them in the future. I'm curious if others opinions of certain songs improved after this show as well. The NMIXX staples were of course brilliant too.

Also, a takeaway I have is that investing in some custom molded ear-plugs was totally worth it. It took away none of the audio quality, while protecting my ears and being comfortable throughout the show.

There, end to my gushing about the show. I know some didn't get the same experience as me, due to obstructed views or other reasons, and I hope you still had a good time or that you can catch another show in the future πŸ™‚

I enjoyed the show for the reasons you outlined in your post.

My experience was dampened slightly by people in the VIP area who spent the entire time filming instead of engaging.

Also, one tall person two rows ahead kept their phone and lichtstick up constantly, blocking my view and preventing me from seeing the full group, or taking any clear photos or videos. Their lack of awareness was frustrating.

Still, the performance was excellent, and I am looking forward to their next tour.

This was also my first kpop concert (first concert in general) and I enjoyed it so much!! I was on the first stand in the back but even there the energy was amazing.

I was also smiling the whole time and it felt very special to be able to experience their first ever concert. Just knowing that they will do around 14 shows and I was able to be at one makes this a wonderful memory. Im excited to see what their next tour will look like.

And oh my days the band was insaneee. When it started out with that guitar riff I was blown away.

The girls were incredible and had amazing energy

  4. It was incredible. I’ve seen lots of groups and luckily saw Nmixx at inkigayo already, but this show was just on another level.

This sonehow sets the bar alot higher for other groups I would go to.

  5. This was my first time at a concert where I felt really close to the stage, as I’m normally at the back because I’m pretty tall. So I felt a bit bad when I also had to stand up to see the stage. I hope I didn’t block to many people, as I was ‘seated’ more at the side.

That said, the concert itself was amazing! The girls were all really active in interacting with the crowd, and it was amazing to see how much energy they had, singing and dancing for 4-5 songs back to back without stopping. Definitely an unforgettable experience, and I hope they come back to Amsterdam some time in the future!

  6. it was not my first k-pop show and i was still blown away. i don’t think a lot of people would’ve expected one of their first shows outside of korea to be like this, not even the girls themselves

adding to the ear-plugs: you don’t even need custom molded ones. the ones from alpine that are sold for 12€ at afas live are already very good and i would recommend everybody to get at least something like this. your ears adjust to your surroundings and you will not hear a difference after a few seconds

  7. I’m glad for you but why did you set up my girl Lily like that on the first pic? πŸ˜…
