  1. Four days straight of photoshoots…I just know they were starving by the time they finally shot the album cover. 😅

I really love the brief little moment they captured of Jin and Jimin trading compliments.

  2. Lmao from the schedule I thought it would be an episode, even save my lunch to eat while watching. Turns out it’s much shorter than I anticipated, but for some reason it made me so emotional to see them posing as a group at the end of the video that I’m now crying over my fries 😂

They look so good, they absolutely served on these photoshoots and the photographer did a fantastic job.

I have nothing respectful to say about any of this, especially the part where JK threw that tie, but they all look incredible

  4. So does each member have a photo where they throw their tie to our faces?
    Where are they???:)

    INTERESTING.

I went in expecting to gush and aww at their interactions and cute moments, but I left all emotional seeing the final shots in black and white 🥹

I’ve been thinking, and this is just me thinking out loud, but does BTS seem to be trying to move away from a traditional k-pop approach? Their comeback rollouts differ every time, so I’m not talking about that.

There’s a lot less focus on the visual aspects and “fan-service” stuff. By fanservice, I don’t mean the weird things people always accuse idols of, but content that is made specifically because fans enjoy watching them. For example, their comeback lives during previous eras, they would usually play a few games, have some activities, etc. This time, STUDIO NOTES was strictly about the album process (and was AMAZING btw). This photoshoot sketch too, if filmed like previous eras, would have atleast one of the members greet us for each day going “Hi ARMY. Today is day-2 of shooting. I’m feeling….etc etc”. The lack of concept photos as teasers also ties into that. Even the reaction to SWIM MV wasn’t a “reaction” like ones they used to film.

I feel like the focus has been strictly on the music, the making process (docu), and the performances. To me, it appears that BTS 2.0 is *definitely* gonna be a different era. I’m excited and intrigued!

Edit: Wait, no PRESS CONFERENCE this time either!….which…FAIR. I honestly don’t think they needed to do it.

  6. They have DEFINITELY grown up! The big hit intern is spending far too much time on socials because these photos sum up a lot of what’s discussed 😬
