For people who have been to the Brooklyn Paramount, how early do you recommend arriving? I saw someone say they’ve seen people start lining up at 8am for small venues, is that normal? I’ve never done GA before for a concert or been to one at venue this small. I saw the venue allows 12x6x12 bags, they don’t have to be clear, right?

Brooklyn Paramount is sloped, so it’s not as bad even if you’re standing in the back. There’s really no point in arriving super early unless you’re an Ultimate VIP ticket holder trying to get right up front. Everyone else is going be standing up and have their phones up in every row anyway. That’s just the reality of these events nowadays.
Even if a GA ticket holder lines up days in advance, it won’t matter at all since they won’t be getting into soundcheck in the first place. I guess you could show up a few hours early if you’re trying to grab merch, but you’re also taking a gamble on how much will still be available after VIPs get first pick.
As for bag policy, something like a purse or a small bag would be admitted.

They’ll ask you to open your bag then glance inside
Pretty sure a tote is fine just no backpacks. There’s also a coat check though. The site says you can reserve it in advance
