The only way to get crime solved here is to have it pop off on social media so the authorities can save face.

i get definitely being annoyed especially when the driver tried to get 1k. but he’s a rich popstar, 200 pesos has little effect on him. as an average tourist, this is what i generally tipped ppl when i was there (and i come from a non tipping country). now the driver going to potentially lose their livelihood for a while because the authorities want to save face.

It’s seriously funny how many idols suddenly been taking vacations in Cebu, secret or otherwise. What’s in Cebu? Is there a secret kpop idol club there or something

people being mad at him because he didn’t just jump with joy at being scammed are so weird, especially cause the ride was 300, then it was raised to 500, to which he apparently agreed to pay, only for the taxi driver to then request 1k
people also saying that you shouldn’t go on vacation if you’re not ready to get scammed are so wrong on so many levels. a lot of people make a budget for vacations and who the hell takes into account getting scammed…? like yeah, he can afford it, but what about the people who don’t but still want to enjoy a vacation from time to time but aren’t millionaires?
