Great job by the interviewer at drawing Jin out a little!
I know we’re only two videos in, but I love how we’re seeing more individuality in how the guys think and experience things while also hearing clearly that they love BTS. That seems to be an intentional part of their 2.0 strategy and something they need to be authentic at this stage of their lives. Makes my OT7 heart swell with pride and fondness and especially delight, after seeing how happy they looked performing at Goyang!

Jin really puts ARMY first and this interview emphasized that. Still, I’m sad that he was put into a situation where he had to miss the album camp. His answers to those album questions were very eloquent, I just can’t help but feel flustrated. We would have waited those few more months.

I am looking forward to watching it after my work! Being Namjin bias, I have one who speaks a lot with candor and the other with whom you really need to draw out their thoughts. But I love both of them!
I know it is intentional by Jin to keep himself super private, but he definitely is to some degree very mysterious. He has a way with words that sound really good but you will never get true answer. But that’s fine, that’s just how he is.. his gestures and kindness says everything about him as a person.

This was a great interview, but I do wish he would have named a few other bands other than Coldplay…we already know you love Coldplay!!! Who else??? I know he doesn’t owe us this info, but I’m just so curious, especially as a rock fan (who, um, doesn’t love Coldplay lol)

1) Seokjin disclosed that his tour was scheduled much earlier (debunking a lot of fan theories)
2) Him agreeing with the interviewer that the album would be better if he had writing credits on it (though he thought the members did a beautiful job)
