For a long time, I was used to listening to music with a strong beat.

One day, a friend recommended TWICE’s songs to me and told me all sorts of stories about these nine girls, which got me interested in this K-pop group.

It wasn’t until I went to see them live in concert this year that I completely fell in love with these nine girls.

They seem so full of energy and strength—it feels like they represent a new kind of female empowerment!

The shows I went to in LA I feel like there were a lot of girls/women, which I’m sure makes them happy to see looking out in the crowd. A big topic of discussion in kpop is always about how many gooners are at girl group shows just because the idols are pretty, so it must be rewarding to know what they’re all about resonates with the gals

Yes, no matter who you are you can find strength in their high energy performance. They bring their best to every endeavor, as should we all

However, it was a bit of a shame that Chaeyoung was on sick leave for the show I attended; I hope to have the chance someday to see a performance with the full lineup.

  4. High-key, they’ve helped me get better mentally. Still not great but I’d be a whole lot worse if they weren’t part of my life right now fr
