Did NOT expect this to lean so much into rock.

My mind was blown after five seconds in already.

The chorus is insane that beat is NAUGHTY

They had one mission one chance with a name like that and they said WATCH US

  3. This is a very good debut song, my debut song so far for this year and also, one of the few small girl group songs that I actually like, which I think it’s less than five, If I’m correct, which is great for a rookie group cause I am now looking forward to their future careers as idols.

  4. Pretty damn great debut which isn’t surprising given the company and its producers, but man I’m still weirded out by the group name. Shout out to future group name NOTADULT lol.

What a debut! This is really fun. I love the shouty “we are Unchild”s at the end.

    Rooting for these gals.

This isn’t my cup of tea. The chorus is kinda empty just repeating we are unchild over and over again

  7. Crunchy and energetic instrumental, fun debut, welcome to another quirky concept GG. I’m glad to see Yeeun debut after the trials and tribulations of I-LAND 2. Evon really stood out though, I think she could be big.

Solid. Also I feel like I’m the only one that likes the name UNCHILD for the group. There are definitely weirder names out there.

  9. Man it feels like yesterday when STAYC debuted and Na Haeun was still this cute kid who covered songs and now Haeun is debuting STAYC’s junior group. Love the pop rock vibes of this and how it differs from their sunbae.

  10. Lots of personality in this debut, it’s not the type of music I personally like but definitely very unique next to most ggs we got in the latest years.

  11. That was fun. I liked it.

Sounds like they have some strong vocals. Interested to see what they sound like live.

So much color in the MV! Is that allowed? lol

Edit: “Energy” is okay. I’ll give it a few more listens but it didn’t grab me initially.

  12. such a fun production! and yeeun has come a looooooooong way since we first saw her on iland 2.

  13. Very youthful and the bright green/colors certainly stand out. If anything this will definitely drill their name into your head. I’ll be excited to hear what their sound continues as.

  14. i feel like this is the type of group that has the potential to be really good but they need a better song to showcase that, this one is not it, the girl that stood out to me the most was Ako, we don’t see green hair that much in k-pop and she fits this concept the most

Good track bringing the quirky and weird vibes! But here I am living for the visuals screaming 2010s K-Pop. I miss those neon lights and colors

I really like the chorus and the ending (I’m a sucker for rock elements)

Is this the title track? It just feels like an album intro or better yet a tv show intro

  17. Rado has done it again, because this absolutely slaps! This group has massive potential.

  18. Budget-Return on

Okay, girlies, you have my attention. The chorus slaps!

Ik they are labelmates, but some of the M/V shots remind of StayC’s ‘Bubble’. It’s been a while as well seeing a neon element.

  19. Solid debut, interesting and different enough for the current ggs. I like the instrumental

Still have to see how they perform this, the quirky mv works but not sure if energy will translate to live stages

This feels like an edgier bubble and teddy bear which I already liked so I enjoyed this debut song. You can really hear the bep (ik they separated) sound.

  21. petrichor-pixels on

That dance break towards the end though! I’m enjoying this more than I expected (I’m older now, so I don’t often expect to enjoy debuts geared towards younger teens).

Although, I will have to put my foot down at them bringing back some of that early 2010s fashion. Nope, I will not allow it lmao.

  22. it felt like 1/3 of the song was just them repeating we are unchild over and over and its the worst part of the song

i dont know why they added a 20 second skit to the end of their debut music video

  23. I really like this as a debut song, the song has a lot of character. It’s a good showcase for them, a nice introduction to UNCHILD. After watching the MV and listening to the song you definitely know what they are about and it makes you excited for more, and that’s exactly what a debut song should achieve.

The MV is fun, the song is catchy and the members look incredibly cool. First time I’m following a group since pre debut, I’m so excited.
