The comeback promotions were cut short after Hyuna and Dawn were revealed to be dating, leading to a conflict between the couple and the company. Hyuna left Cube in September 2018, and Dawn left in November 2018 after being put on indefinite hiatus since August 2018.
As for their current whereabouts:
Hyuna left At Area this month and has been taking a break, occasionally posting updates on her social media. Her last release was [Mrs Nail](https://youtu.be/4no_auZ_WtY) in April 2025.
Hui left Cube in July 2025, working as a freelancer until he joined With Us Entertainment in November 2025. He has been releasing content in [his new youtube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@official_HUI/videos) and this week he just released his new self-produced digital single [Dear Tomorrow](https://youtu.be/NsYJjBCPe0A), which is a spring song part of his four-seasons project where he’ll be releasing a new song per season throughout the year. Pentagon also performed at Hanteo Music Awards in February, releasing [a dance practice](https://youtu.be/f1zthwTFL6A) and [behind video](https://youtu.be/Y5cf8-ZMpkg) for it, and have plans to do group activities for their 10th anniversary in the second half of the year.
Dawn left At Area on January and is currently active as a freelancer doing content in [his youtube channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDbmM3aNpaqcUAO0lBAwOMg) and appearing in variety shows, as well working as DJ and having art-related side projects. He mentioned he was planning to release an album in April, although it seems it got delayed considering we’ve already reached May with no news about it. His last release was EP Narcissus in September 2023 with double title track [Star (feat 10CM)](https://youtu.be/owZ0zIlhCqo) and [Heart](https://youtu.be/K_WclflV3pI). He also featured on [GroovyRoom’s IG](https://youtu.be/4K4ce3Gy21E) in 2024.

I didn’t know about them until after the unit was over but I remember seeing a clip of them together and being shocked because I didn’t know k-pop had groups with men and women together, it was so good.
