I saw a JP Nswer online talk about the easter egg references in Crescendo's choreography and thought: why not spend my morning obsessing over it? lmao
I'm no dancer by any means so a lot of this is from recognizing the formation changes in Crescendo as being oddly familiar. The one I immediately caught onto upon first watch was the See That? dance break and Know About Me Chorus 2 formation, simply because those are soooo iconic and recognizable. The other references in verse 1 I genuinely had to slow down the stage practice so I could figure out it out. I'd just like to reiterate again that it is genuinely insane how fast they are switching formations in just the 1st verse of Crescendo. Genuinely nuts.
As for the second verse and pre-chorus of Crescendo though, I think it's less about evoking an recreation of other songs' formations and more about the overall rhythm of the movement, as I also explain in the photo re: Spinnin On It and Crescendo verse 2. The Blue Valentine pre-chorus 2 feels like the inspiration behind Crescendo pre-chorus 2 as well, in regards to the quickening rhythm that varies up the song.
Anyway, this is not a complete list by any means and I'd love to hear if other NSWERS caught onto other references! I'm sure there's some reference to DASH somewhere but I just wasn't able to catch it. Also the chorus of Crescendo, I found, is especially so unique since it's evoking an entirely different dance style (ballroom dance-esque) so I couldn't really catch much references there.

I caught all of these except Dice! Glad I’m not the only one though lol
