Like with the Blue Valentine highlight medley last time, it feels like they’ve tightly hidden the main parts and melody of the title track again. Different Girl seems like a B-side with the kind of vibe I really like, so I’m looking forward to it, and Superior is probably going to be insane in the studio version with all those layered vocals.

I’m loving the eerie vibes this era! The album already sounds so cohesive imo, although the actual songs might differ a bit from the a capella renditions. Based on this medley, other than the title track I’m looking forward to hearing Different girl the most! Kind of giving a bit of Papillon vibes

Anyone know the “Different Girl” lyrics? It’s my favorite arrangement, but I fear the original might not live up to this, the tuned percussion here is doing so much work.

Given that we’ve already heard both ‘Crescendo’ and ‘Superior’ I’ve got to say that ‘LOUD’ is definitely the one this is making me most excited with ‘IDESERVEIT’ in second! 💙💙💙
There wasn’t anything for ‘Heavy Serenade’ itself that really caught my attention but the a capellas are not the be all end all, they’re for sure holding things back. And I mean I really disliked the ‘Phoenix’ a capella only for it to become one of my favorite songs on the album!

Aahh I’m feeling so much anticipation for this album – they gave us like nothing for Heavy Serenade (bar Sullyoon’s majestic high note). It’s like the BV highlight medley. I’m definitely most looking forward to LOUD, the melody is so simple but it’s definitely my type of song from what I’ve heard. Superior is going to be PODIUM’s long lost sibling or something with how epic it sounds. Different Girl sounds amazing, I have a feeling the instrumental will surprise me a little with this. As for IDESERVEIT, I don’t really have an opinion on it yet. That and Heavy Serenade. I don’t min – I’ll definitely love it anyway, but oh my god I’m getting so excited!!!!
