>several garments sent to South Korea for Jisoo’s album cover shoot had not been returned for over six months.

Belgian designer aiming for publicity?
IndependentGood6329 on
honestly from what i saw on the instagram account i think this is more due to chaos/disorganization with the styling teams.
edit: if you go on the IG page the post has been deleted and the designer said things had been resolved, he’s getting his stuff back but that he’s not apologizing, because going 6 months with no contact over lent designer clothes is awful for small designers
edit 2: clearly he had the right idea, because doing this reel had more results than 6 months of trying to contact them privately.

this is unfortunately pretty common among celebrity teams – i remember i think it was doechii having something similar come up with an independent designer who received their pieces back damaged. for big brands, it’s not really a big deal for most items if they’re ripped or stained with makeup because an A lister wore their pieces, but independent artists have lists a mile long of celebrities taking advantage of their relative lack of influence or priority. happy the designer was contacted and will be getting their pieces back

Baffled by the hate the designer is getting. Kpop fans are so quick to defend their idols ‘ team and really think they are the weak, the victim and can’t do no wrong in every situation

Not people defending the way he is getting treated it in the comments ,I bet you if he had this much grace to remain silent for six months he could have remained silent for long too if her team would have cooperated in any way . He had to do this because this is the only time he knows he can get what he wanted because of metgala hype . If Jisoo team cared about her image so much ,they could have easily returned those clothes, six months is a lot of time . It’s not small business responsibility to take care of the image of a rich celebrity/K-pop idol when her own team doesn’t give a fuck and don’t treat small business as worthy enough of replying or sending their stuff back. Also I am not surprised by the hate he is getting and he is so right to not apologise because he did nothing wrong. Sadly her fans are acting as I expected.

Apparently he wasn’t the only one, some other designers said the same thing happened to them in the comment section. People are saying they reached out to him but I hope they’ll also reach out to these other people even if they don’t have a viral posts about it.
