Proud of them for being interviewed in a magazine as big as Forbes! There’s some good conversation here about the reaction to Bain coming out and the hate comments they received, their shift to hyperpop and musical direction moving forward, which seems like it might go in a lot of different directions. It sounds like they’re starting to discuss their next album, so I’m definitely excited for that!
Plus they’re shady about Road to Kingdom again, which always amuses me

That was a great read! Really reads into their feelings and such while also reinforcing their will to move forward.

> DY says bluntly, “To be honest, I can’t really relate to the Snow Angel album. Neither the lyrics nor the instruments feel closely connected to my life or reflect who I am. To me, Snow Angel was simply a means for JUSTB to survive—the only path we had at the time. So rather than relating to the message within the music itself, I resonate more with the reality behind it—the process of how the album was made, and the fact that it became part of JUSTB’s story.”
So real, love that he said it. It’s bizarre that fans expect kpop songs (esp self-produced/written) to be *about* the idols.
