It is a ‘luxury’ because it proves you have more than enough resources (time, money, and mental peace) for yourself, leaving you with extra to spend on others. Because privileged people have no survival struggles, there is absolutely no valid reason for them to be rude, mean, or selfish. If a rich person is mean, it is entirely their fault, because they have zero excuses to treat people badly.
