It seems like Nmixx is doing really well in Taiwan. Not just in terms of chart performance and concert sales, but even Netflix Taiwan’s official account uploaded a video matching the lyrics of Heavy Serenade.
There’s probably some added advantage from being Twice’s sister group since Tzuyu is Taiwanese, but even setting that aside, I genuinely feel like there’s something about Nmixx’s music that resonates with Taiwanese audiences on an emotional level.
Anyway, the bottom line is that they’re doing well, and as a fan, that makes me really happy.

My take on it is that NMIXX’s vibe is very similar to a certain Taiwanese girl group that used to be big decades ago.
I interact with Taiwanese NSWERs a lot but I still don’t get what makes them so beloved there. Taiwan has been hard carrying Spotify streams for several comebacks in a row now and concert tickets there always sell out instantly. They even had to another show there because of the demand.

Taiwan NSWERs have always been very supportive!! Still remember how awesome they were in support during NMIXX’s baseball game performance in the Taipei Dome! So glad they get to have a second show, well deserved!!!
It’s crazy that as soon the tickets on sale within 1 minute, most of it gone already and I didn’t manage to get it at all
