BOOMPALA

Creatures, trust exercise, iffy iffy
easy top 3 for me
Sorry but I don’t get how someone picks songs like Creatures, Saki and Iffy Iffy for an album and yet chose to push songs like Celebration and BOOMPALA and this is coming from someone who doesn’t hate either songs.
Creatures is SO good. Might be my new favorite song of theirs!
Need your company is probably my new fave ballad of them
I‘m here to say that Iffy Iffy is my girl group song of the year. 10/10. Amazing

is that the album cover? it’s still the white logo for me on Spotify
Creatures is so good I need them to lean into this/No Celestial pop rock sound
oh trust exercise is THAT girl… love yunjin’s and chaewon’s voices in the chorus
why is Need Your Company 2 minutes long. Best song and its that short
Saki is insane and is also insane for them to not choose it as a tt. It’s perfect and has that viral factor idk what the hell they were on choosing boompala as a tt 😭😭😭😭 lord
I don’t care what anyone says every b-side is a banger especially iffy iffy
Aside from Ash, this is probably their best album since Unforgiven. However, none of these songs are long enough. All of them are worse for it too, with not a single one of these tracks (including Celebration, which I love) actually feeling complete. It’s like an album full of pretty but ultimately fleeting interludes.
Saki, Need Your Company and Creatures are some of their best songs. They’re legitimately fantastic. But none of them feel finished.
CALL ME SAKI WON’T CALL YOU BACK
first listen this album is great all around
Celebration and boompala feel like such outcasts after listening to the other songs. I like boompala but definitely could see myself getting tired of it fast lol. Creatures is so so good I really like the vocals. Iffy iffy is such a cutesy song I like the chorus. Need your company is so beautiful I loooove zuhas voice on it, the message is also super heartwarming.
This album is slower/darker? Than I thought it would be. Sonder is nice I’m not sure how I feel about the robotic? Part of it yet but I like their voices. I feel like they all sound vocally amazing on this album. Saki ouuuuu yunjin. This is a vibeeeeeeee they are indeed those girls!! I feel like aliyahs not really that prominent which is sad this either should’ve been a solo lesserafim song or she should’ve been in it more.
The album picks up energy wise with saki but I still really love the first part. Irony is funky I likeee. I feel like this album is a great progression story wise and vocally when you look back and see unforgiven was their last full album. This feels like they’re telling a story where unforgiven was a lot of vibes and general messages.
Zuha is my bias but I can’t stop pointing out her vocal growth she sounds so so amazing I love it. Trust exercise feels like something I’ve heard from lesserafim before but I like their vocals on it. I need to see the translation for liminal space but from my very limited knowledge of Korean it sounds sad with mentions of crying lol.
Overall I think this is a great album but not the best title tracks/ their company is clearly trying to go for a viral song.( which is no shade to them because what company isn’t?)It works but it doesn’t make you want to really go back to them. Per usual their b sides are fire I think this was a nice upgrade from unforgiven and I will definitely be listening to these songs again!!
Need Your Company being 2:09 is an absolute crime.
*Omg it’s actually 1:58 *DEATH ROW**
The full album is good. Even for people who really doesn’t like Celebration and Boompala, you can still enjoy some of the songs in this album. This is the good of LE SSERAFIM, they always have good b-sides every album or mini album.
I really hope they make at least one week promotions of Creatures, such a good song and No Celestial sister. Like they did with other b-sides before. I just won’t say i’m sure they will do it because they already promoted Celebration as pre-release before too for 2 weeks and they have an in-coming tour, but let’s see.
What could be better, as other users said, it’s the lenght of the songs, especially iffy iffy and Need Your Company that are songs i really loved.
Liminal Space is more of an outro than a song too that tries to create a connection to the next album they will release in the future.
I loved the sequence with Cratures – iffy iffy – Need Your Company – Sonder. Really good b-sides!! Saki is good too (and i was really expecting for this song) but the only problem, that happens frequently with some k-pop songs with so much english, it’s that the lyrics seem a little too cringey (even if i’m know what they’re coming from and what they are talking to talk about, but idk) lol
Overall, i liked the album. Sad that most people will only listen the title track but we know that this is the normal nowadays, people rarely listen to full albums of artists which they have big interest to get to know or that always are their favs artists.
Enjoyed basically every track. Celebration definitely is the weakest which is annoying because it could have been as strong if rearranged and lengthened as I’ve said before. I felt Need Your Company was too short considering the subject matter and genre but I never doubted my album artists.
Definitely my favourite Korean release from them since HOT and is probably fighting with it and FEARLESS as my favourite project as a whole from them. Creatures, Saki and Sonder top 3 maybe since I enjoyed hearing the girls vocalise, especially on Sonder.
I’m so sad about Chaewon not being able to promote but I hope she’s resting well.
Wrong choice of both title tracks
Boompala doesn’t need the macrena sample, it would have done well as an original with the catchy phrase. I feel like SOURCE has stopped listening to fans feedback. from Chaewons preventable injury, to these very short songs. They don’t need to force virality because their bsides are good enough to go viral and are better (the only 2 songs I don’t care for are Boompala and celebrate but the rest will be on repeat). I feel like they’re forcing songs as titles they think will go viral vs the past. I like the group a lot, so hoping the K public at least likes the title or one of the b sides goes viral.
faves so far: Creatures, Saki (feat. Aliyah’s Interlude), Irony
*why you ask for my autograph? then be talking shit on those apps* TELL ‘EM SAKI‼️
CREATURES is that song for me not because it’s the only song that’s 3 minutes long but because it has that extra oomph that the two singles lacked for me and it also feels like a very fully realized BOP!!!! Iffy Iffy being only 2 minutes is crminal because what a bop, it’s so smooth and hits all the right spots for me. Ok love that Saki song being the spiritual successor to 1-800-hot-n-fun lol especially with all those callbacks in the beginning! Really vibing with Trust Exercise, I’m not usually one to enjoy slower songs but this one also hit the right spots.
A little disappointed Liminal Space was just an outro and one that’s just them talking for a whole 2 minutes without any kind of music until the last 40ish seconds? They could’ve replaced it with a proper song here or at least an instrumental idk just feels like a wasted opportunity.
It’s clear that there are a lot of good songs here but the lengths are killing me. A lot of songs feel like they should go for *just* a bit longer.
1 song *over* 3 minutes, 2 songs *under* 2 minutes, an intro and outro that take up 4 minutes of the 27 minute runtime.
Still I have to say Iffy Iffy, Creatures, Saki, and Trust Exercises are great.
need your company being 1:58 is criminal
oh Sonder, the Imogen Heap that you are
**need your company** is **THAT** song. it’s crazy how it sounds so much like a yunjin-produced song. i already knew i loved it on the first listen.
**irony** is such a banger too
