Bleach. Very rarely do I see kpop stars use full wigs (however many do use hair pieces). Theoretically she could use wigs for photoshoots/performances, but she’s still blonde a lot of the time outside of schedules.

She’s a natural blonde wdym! /j fr though she bleaches it, sometimes she gets extensions but I’m not sure if I’ve seen her in an actual wig before

She commented on it in a video a couple years ago. She bleaches it weekly because her natural hair color is very dark. She has a world-class hair stylist (who is also her good friend) and team that puts immense care towards her hair because that amount of bleaching is a like a war against the scalp, so they do everything possible to mitigate or entirely avoid scalp irritation and hair loss. It’s actually amazing how much is required for her hair to look like this. That’s why it’s so iconic.

I had heard from another source that the hair dye she’s used for years has damaged her hair considerably so I would not be surprised if some “extra” was used.
