Seungkwan is an all rounder yet I don’t see anyone mention him while talking about all rounders in Seventeen.

Together is even more elite Wholesome seventeen track compared to Kidult. Kidult is queen and she deserves her flowers but together is just THAT girl .

  3. Dino is the ace of the group, but fans treat him as the maknae, the fool, or the sexy one.

  4. dino was more than qualified to be apart of BSS from day one – he has some of the best comedic timing in the group and will take a bit to the ends of the earth

The popular members of the group do NOT have any privileges. They do deserve the success they’re getting. They are NOT replaceable nor are they not necessary when it comes to talent.

  6. LFM is a fun song, sure it’s more relaxed than svt’s usual offerings, but it’s not a bad song.

  7. I’ve said it (not) once and I’ll say it again (and again): Jeonghan is underrated for his talents

  8. This is mainly to those that dislike seventeen or misunderstand seventeen, so not necessarily POPULAR opinions, but I’d still defend with my life:

Seventeen’s discography is not “boring” and anyone who has actually taken the time to explore it would know that it’s actually one of the most sonically diverse and explorative discographies in kpop.

Seventeen has no filler members and the entire dynamic / sound / synergy of the group would change if even one member left.

  9. If they were in any other group, all the members could either be a part of the dance line and/or the vocal line, the base level of skill within Svt across dance and vocals (and rap to a certain extent) is crazily high across the board

Jeonghan’s playful cheating is part of what makes Going Seventeen so fun! The members know and expect it, and it adds to the entertainment. Some people hate so much.

13 members isn’t too many members. They all have different talents and got this far with the synergy that all 13 of them created together. Yes, they worked hard but it isn’t just about working hard that got them this far. They are special.

  12. 1) CBV3 isnt that bad

    2) Rock With You remains their best TT post-Hybe

    3) Jun and The8 didn’t deserve the 2019 political hate train (criticism? yeah. hate train? no.)

    4) Jun needs to go blonde more

    5) Hai Cheng > Orbit

    6) I’m convinced Minghao designed the Orbit tracklist poster himself

    7) Seungkwan needs an EP

ready to love is a good song. was even confused why carats were disliking it when it was released

scoups is not an alpha, hes a sweet, protective, dorky older brother. he is cute and precious and affectionate and not some dominant and intimidating jerk.

also, woozi is cute and warm and not a tsundere.

The cheating in Going Seventeen often saves the content and people need to chill.

for members like Seungkwan and Dino, people can’t look past their comedy or the things they have done to make something funny. so, people have pinned them down for *only* that and nothing else, thus frequently not acknowledging them for their talents and what they can do / the role they play in the group.

for Seungkwan, it’s usually “side eye” and for Dino, it has mostly become “pi cheolin”.

  17. Jeonghan is more than just a pretty face. That man’s vocals… so heavenly. And his dancing skills? On par with main dancers from other groups. Not to mention his comedic skills, awesome brain, and his sporty ways.

  18. Automatic-Demand8060 on

seungkwan and dino’s talents are incredibly overlooked. they’re both all rounders but nobody’s ready to accept that

rock with you & mansae are their best title tracks

hoshi would be a really good soloist

i think minghao suits shorter hair better than longer hair

  19. I’ll add a controversial one: If people can acknowledge that main vocal = best SINGING/best technique and not best voice, it shouldn’t be that hard to understand that visuals = according to KBS. If someone is not labelled as a visual that does not mean they are not attractive and people need to stop taking offense.

  20. would love to see more MVs with a storyline like shohikigen, ima, cheers to youth, last night and eyes on you!! all five have varying mixes of hope and melancholy that really touches the heart

  21. Love, Money, Fame is very good as a song in concerts.

Not Super level of awesome but it deserves the title track.

  22. Dust is a banger and one of the best vcu songs EVER 🤌 I’m tired of people saying it’s boring or it ruined the album… you don’t get her like i do 🥹

  23. Fear was too ahead of its time thus not greatly appreciated. Plus anything minwon. Carats are all for supporting svt until its minwon. Lolz

another: on Reddit, at least, I don’t really see Seungkwan and Dino as these “underrated”/”underdog” members everyone paints them to be. Because within this community, you cannot say they aren’t appreciated when every single post/comment of them has to include “but carats don’t appreciate- but carats don’t see-” and you’d end up with one of the most upvoted comment. Just look at the comments here

It’s not wrong, but it is funny to me that the so-called “popular” members don’t really get the same treatment. So their “popularity”? I can’t really see it, again, on this subreddit. It’s also funny that Redditors are trying so hard to prove that maknae line deserve so much more love than they get but all I see (on REDDIT, SPECIFICALLY) is only love for the three of them

AGAIN, I know outside of Reddit they’re not the most appreciated or whatever but I don’t think it’s THAT obvious in the fandom and sometimes people make it a bigger deal than it is? It’s frustrating because while they deserve to get more hype, they’re also more than this “underrated”/”underdog”/”underappreciated” narratives you put them in
