**Vernon about Jun**
“He would often come over to talk. I think it’s because I listen to him a lot.”
“Like me, he likes to be simple and straight to the point. That’s why it’s comfortable to be around him. He’s normally a little rough and playful, but sometimes he’d tell me philosophical thoughts about acting to me. He’d probably wouldn’t want me saying this though (laughs).”

**Jun about Vernon**
” Vernon is a friend who I communicate well with.”
” A cute dongsaeng who I can comfortably talk with.”
“No mistake, he is super handsome! I have a anecdote of when we were having a hi-touch with Carats; the fans would talk about how cute or cool the other members were, but as soon as they reach Vernon, they’d become speechless or even gulp nervously. Seeing the difference in reactions are always fun.”
**Who is the member that makes you feel like a big brother when you’re together?**
**Jun:**” Hmm, I think it’s Vernon ? Vernon’s way of thinking is interesting. Vernon’s interests, for example: delicious foods, music or works when he talks about those things, he talks about them enthusiastically and interesting opinions keep coming. When I listen to his stories, I feel like I’m his big brother.”
**In SVT Club** (when they both raised their hands as the ones who didn’t get stressed.)
**Vernon:** “I think Jun is very optimistic. Jun is No.1”
**MC:** “Do you try not to get stressed out?”
**Jeonghan:** “He doesn’t listen.”
**Dino:** “He forgets easily.”
**Vernon:** “I think I’m like this as well.”
**Jun:** “It will go in. Something’s registered but then I forget it right away.”
**Vernon:** “Me too.”
**MC:** “It could be because they’re simple. I envy that.”
**Seungkwan:** “Yes, simple.”
**Vernon:** (pointing at Jun)”He’s the simplest person on earth. Jun is like that. I’m simple as well.”
I think that when it comes to this pairing most of their relationship happens behind the scenes. They definitely talk way more than it appears. You get a glimpse of their closeness with moments like Vernon waiting for his Iphone lol.

And Vernon’s face as he tries not to laugh at Jun’s delivery.
I remember two instances very clearly. one is during their pre-debut days when Jun made the sandwiches for his members so kindly because that was his way of showing care and love due to the language barrier. Vernon’s face literally lit up and it was just pure emotions and adoration and admiration and awe in his face. he even asked Jun you made this for us!!
another one is also food related. it’s during ITS, when Jun made a dish (I forgot the name). he was supposed to put peanuts but didn’t put any because of Vernon being allergic to it. he just wanted to make sure that everyone including Vernon could eat what he made. that was really sweet of him.
