YG Entertainment is raising expectations for improving performance thanks to the complete comeback of BLACKPINK and the expansion of activities of its artists. Accordingly, Daishin Securities raised the target price of YG Entertainment from 60,000 won to 65,000 won and maintained the investment opinion ‘purchase’.

On the 7th, Shinsei Securities said in a report, “The possibility of earnings growth has increased as Blackpink’s complete activities have become visible,” and “The expansion of Baby Monster and Treasure’s activities will also have a positive impact.”

Researcher Lim Soo-jin from Daishin Securities analyzed that BLACKPINK’s world tour is a key factor for performance improvement. He stated, “BLACKPINK held a total of 66 performances during their last world tour, attracting 1.8 million people,” adding, “Initially, they started at arena-level venues (with a capacity of 16,000), but in the later stages, they expanded to dome and stadium-level venues (with a capacity of 45,000).”

He continued, “In this tour, the average audience per show is likely to exceed 40,000,” and added, “Approximately 60 performances are expected from the third quarter of this year to the second quarter of next year, with a total audience size estimated to exceed 2.4 million.” The performance outlook is also positive.

He projected, “The total revenue from the last tour was 437.6 billion won, but considering ticket prices and other factors, revenue of over 600 billion won is expected from this tour,” and he anticipated that the operating profit could reach 90 billion won.

Daishin Securities predicted that YG Entertainment will record the largest sales ever this year as the activities of its affiliated artists begin in earnest along with Blackpink’s comeback.

Researcher Lim said, “The operating profit margin (OPM) in the first half of the year is 2.7%, but it will soar to 12% in the second half of the year.” “As BLACKPINK’s complete comeback and Bemon and Treasure’s growth are intertwined, YG Entertainment is likely to record the highest performance in history.”

Investors’ expectations are also growing. An entertain industry official said, “BLACKPINK has a strong fandom in the global market, and if this comeback succeeds, YG Entertainment’s corporate value will increase even more.” “Bemon and Treasure are also growing gradually, so we can expect long-term performance improvement.”

YG Entertainment did not specifically announce Blackpink’s activity plan and world tour schedule, but the market’s expectations are already reflected. Attention is drawn to what kind of results BLACKPINK will achieve in the global market and how much YG Entertainment’s performance will actually improve.

  2. Just a reminder to everyone that this is just a PREDICTION from a researcher, and it’s not anything from YGE.

  4. SapphireHeaven on

A Kpop group has never played the Stadium in my city so I’m slightly worried I’d have to spend way too much on travel next to the tickets..![img](emote|t5_3f8po|716)

  5. Here’s a comparison of what this would mean for the average attendees per show:

    – In your Area Tour (~13,000)
    – Born Pink (~27,000)
    – Tour 2025-2026 (~40,000)

If all this is true, then they’ll probably be performing almost solely stadiums and maybe a handful of arenas, if any at all.
