I know that all of the girls were in South Korea after AMORTAGE got released, which gave me hope, but with the Oscars happening, the tour tickets already being sold, Lisa that'll start promoting Alter Ego, Jennie that'll release Ruby next week, that has events for Ruby in March, AMORTAGE being released very recently, Jisoo also promoting Newtopia (and maybe working on JS1 too), and Lisa promoting her acting debut in TWL, I really wonder how will they take the time to rest, take care of themselves, AND release BP3 before the first concerts starts.
Plus, I don't want this era to be rushed like Born Pink was. (It was sensational, but it could've been so much better if the girls had more time to prepare themselves). The girls are releasing a LOT of solo music, and if YG makes another BP album, I think it'd be better to have something that feels complete, with 12 ~ 15 songs (without The Girls) and doing such things requires a LOT of work (each of them have been working on their solo releases for the past year), and these solo careers seems very demanding. I think it would've been wiser to let the girls release their solo songs, do their events on their own all throughout 2025, and then make a BP comeback + World Tour in 2026 with a proper, full album, and proper promotion in Sokor and in the West. Maybe that YG will make the BP World Tour without releasing BP3 but that will make people mad, especially considering how expensive the tickets are. Maybe that the girls have been working on BP3 for a while besides their solo projects? I really have no clue. I really don't know what to expect, I personally just hope that the girls' solo careers and BP as a group will be as successful as they can be in 25/26 and that YG will let them perform their non-YG solo songs at the BP concerts.

BP3 will happen but I’m pretty sure the promotion of the album will rush and short.
Honestly, at this point, I’m not sure. Of course, I really want a group comeback, but at the same time, I feel like the upcoming world tour has jeopardized the promotion of each member’s solo music. They could have had more time to fully explore their individual artistry, but it seems like YG is pressuring them to wrap up all their solo activities by April.
That brings me to another point—while I want new group music, I don’t want it to feel rushed or compromised in quality. If they’re coming back as a group, I hope they experiment with new sounds together, just as they did with their solo projects. I don’t want a comeback with another recycled YG instrumental, especially now that we know all the members are capable of so much more.
Just like with their individual careers, I want them to take their time, plan thoroughly, and try something new as a group. And most importantly, I want them to rest and stay healthy so they can give their best performances on tour.
Oh no doubt Bp3 is on the way and it is rushed. My theory is they prob already recorded a few songs last year and that’s why the girls are rushing to release all of their solo albums before the tour.

My guess is they’ve been recording BP3 throughout the last year. But they’ve all probably been recording their vocals independently whenever they have time. Maybe even during their own solo album sessions.
I don’t see any other way an album can come out before tour. They need at least a month of just rehearsing their sets!
I’m pretty sure that there will be a comeback before the tour, but I think the amount of promotion will be fairly limited, as a lot of work will probably go into tour preparations. But overall it’s difficult to say, as we don’t really know what has already been prepared in recent months.

But honestly I hate speculating on BP bc they often disappoint (not the girls I love the girls and they are awesome, I mean the team and production and their “expensive” MVs that are seizure inducing)
BP3 will not have 12-15 songs (that’s not YGE’s style at all), I’m just hoping it’s at least 10 songs this time (it seems 12 is best case when it comes to YGE). I also don’t think we’ll get much promos (like those that we’re getting from their solos), the Pinks will definitely be preparing for the tour (because they should). We don’t know if they’ve worked on songs before or here & there all these time, but it’s not as impossible as some fans think. I don’t trust YHS, but he said “comeback and tour” during his announcement last year so I’m at least 70% sure we’re getting a comeback before the tour. The fandom is already divided as it is, not releasing group music before the tour would further frustrate & harm the fandom (I hope the Pinks and YGE know that).
The timeline for the Pinks’ return to BP has likely been agreed upon & decided when they re-signed, and the group contract is of course timebound too (wouldn’t be surprised if it expires next year). Rosé did say they allowed themselves 1 year to explore solo (it’s actually been more than 1 year now). Jennie and Lisa both mentioned they wanted to release their albums last year so in an ideal world, 3 of 4 solo albums would’ve been released last year; then this year wouldn’t have been as cramped, and last year wouldn’t have been as bad for fans lol.
I do think we’ll get BP3 in June. There are too many unknowns and I don’t think people should start worrying and doomposting before the album comes out. Very possible they’ve been making and recording songs for the past two years. We don’t know if the members will have a lot of involvement in writing the songs, whether there will be 10+ songs. This is uncharted territory so we should just wait and see what happens.
BLACKPINK will have a comeback, I’m just so sad that the promotions will be shorter than ‘BORN PINK’ and ‘BORN PINK’ promotions were pretty rushed and short and went straight to [BORN PINK] WORLD TOUR. For BP3, it will happen but IT BETTER NOT BE A SINGLE, EP, or a 8-song album!!!! This album BETTER be more than 10 songs! And, for the 2025 WORLD TOUR, I fear they wont have enough time to prepare for everything…If I’m not mistaken, so far, solo promotions end with JENNIE and LISA at Coachella. Like NAVER news (sometimes true, sometimes false) said, their comeback most likely be in May. But like I said, that is such a short period with the WORLD TOUR starting in June 5.

Maybe a 3-5 song mini album. With one or two making it on the tour is what I expect.
Just think. Since BP took a break to the time they get back together. They will have collectively released the same amount of songs as individual artists as they did in 10 years as BP. 😳
Realistically BP3 will have 6-8 tracks, and even that might be optimistic. Potentially Teddy got the tracks prepared to the point the girls just need to add vocals which they can do from any studio in the world in a couple of days.
But nobody really knows. They might release one track before the announced shows and BP3 later, they might release nothing or they could release an album but I don’t think any decisions are being made based on them being too busy. Everything will have been decided at the point of the contract negotiations.
When group singers find solo success, it nearly always backseats the group work. Would you work a job that pays significantly less, just because you like your coworkers?
Maybe there will be a new album and maybe it will be great. Maybe there will be tours for years to come. But seeing as all 4 of them are having solo success, I’m tempering expectations.
Why would they have re-signed with the company if they weren’t going to get to do stuff as a group ?
