Heyy I’m a new fan after seeing Jennie’s and Lisa Coachella performance this weekend. I recently listened to Lisa’s first solo album out of curiosity and my favorite tracks were

Thunder
Rapunzel
FUTW

Haven’t listened to their group work yet. What are some songs/albums should I give a listen?

Honestly just listen to everything they have a pretty small discography for a 9 year old group

Edit: also if you loved Lisa and Jennie’s Coachella performance watch Blackpink’s Coachella from 2023 when they headlined. They uploaded some songs themselves and you can find others from crowd perspective but it was one of the best live K-pop sets ever

  3. you should listen to everything haha unfortunately we aren’t spoiled with alot of songs/albums anyway so it won’t take you long to get an idea of what they sound like.

I’d just start from their debut songs (Boombayah and Whistle) and work my way to Born Pink if i were you.

If you really want to get into it watch their live performances on youtube because apart from having great songs they also have a lot of great choreography and stage presence that could make you fall in love with them. Their music videos are also awesome.

Depending on how deep you get into them as a group go to the Blackpink youtube page, sort by oldest video and just watch their journey from their first performances, watching some variety shows like Blackpink House will give you a better idea of who they are. It’s also fun to see 4 friends enjoy life and see the group dynamics

Since they have very few songs (like 30something) you should give all of their albums a listen.

    Their first songs: whistle, Boombayah

My favorite and pretty popular: How You Like That

Underrated: Crazy Over You, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Love To Hate Me, Don’t Know What To Do.

Their most streamed: Kill This Love, Du-ddu-du-ddu, Pink Venom, Shut Down, As If It’s Yours Last

You can listen to the rest of the members music:

Rose’s new album Rosie (the whole album is pretty good but it’s heartbreak themed). Song recomendation: APT (pretty popular right now) Toxic Till The End or Drinks & Coffee (not because they’re the best but for a quick listen) if you wanna dive a bit more 3am, two years, gameboy. Hard To Love is listed as a blackpink song but she’s the only one that sings and it’s pretty good.

Jisoo: she only has 6 songs but for a quick listen Flower or Earthquake (recent release). She has a live cover (ballad) listed in one of the albums: Yuki No Hana

Everyone already touched on the subject already. Discography is a pretty quick listen. Definitely check out Blackpink’s Coachella performance. And also don’t skip out on the dance practice videos on YouTube or their music videos.

Welcome to the fandom! lol hope you enjoy the music!

Welcome to the blink city!!! You can start with their first EPs and singles, Square One, Square Two, As If It’s Your Last, Square Up, and Kill This Love. Then their 2 full albums (Born Pink and The Album). The other two members, Jisoo and Rosé, also have solo music (Amortage, Rosie, Me, R). And there are also many collabs with other artists (whether individual or group), like Kiss And Make Up or Sour Candy.

  7. If you search “Pinkchella 2023” on YouTube, you can find screen recordings of the full 1st and 2nd week performances. You might have to scroll a little. The videos are roughly 1 hour 30 minutes each.
