Pretty neat that they included her in the submissions. There’s 10 actresses listed just for TWL and, assuming they get one or two nominations, it’ll likely go to one of the other actresses who had a lot more to work with in their roles. Lisa did great but it simply wasn’t a large enough role to put her above some of the others here
My bet is on Carrie Coon to bag the nomination and possibly win
Although I enjoyed seeing Lisa in the show, this seems quite silly to me. Her role was incredibly small, even for a supporting actress, and it didn’t allow her to showcase the kind of acting that would deserve an award.
Hottest supporting actress maybe. Very unlikely “best”
It’s not a crazy conspiracy or favoritism. Studios will often submit as many performers as they can to the awards shows, even when they expect they won’t get nominated. Similar to how Bowen Yang was submitted for the best supporting actor Oscar despite barely having any lines. Glad to see they’re still supporting her. Hope to see more acting endeavors in the future.

It’s obvious they submitted every named role. Everyone involved with TWL has been extremely supportive (and appreciative) of Lisa. I am really happy that this is how she got her first role and she did a great job as well.
