im guessing the nets are there for like baseball games so the baseball doesnt hit the audience? why couldnt they take it down for the concert? i woulda been so mad

  2. These nets were at least better than Atlanta. Those are thicker and go up further the baseline.

  3. That’s…insane. I’ve never sat in those seats at baseball stadiums, so this thought has never crossed my mind. Do most places not take them down? That sucks so much.

  4. Were you in section 125 too? I had the same issue but honestly had such a good time I ended up ignoring it

  5. I didn’t have a net in front of me but I had a railing which was in my way when sitting down, so I ended up standing up for most of the show.

Ugh this is frustrating. With how expensive concerts are, these venues should be offering the best to the fans! I hope you still had an amazing time anyways 🖤🩷

  7. I sat in section 105 and thought about that when I looked over. I said to myself” huh, the kept the baseball net up. how interesting.”

Is this sub just for complaining about being able to go to a BLACKPINK concert? Tons of people dream about having the opportunity, yet it seems like some people go into the experience looking for things to complain about.

  9. baseball stadium concerts are interesting. I have seen Eminem 5 times and all at a baseball stadium so you really have to do your research on where to buy tickets.

Agreed, I was in section 15. The tent blocked out the entire stage. Had to watch it on video.

Can’t agree more! I know I didn’t pay a fortune to get the very best seat in the venue, but I also didn’t expect to spend hundreds of $$ just to watch the entire concert through the baseball nets lol If I knew, I would’ve gotten higher seats. Can we also discuss the three lighting towers and the big tent in the center? I knew they worried about the rain and stuff, but who came up with the idea to set the tall tent to block the center of the stage? There were camera crews with individual awnings that were high; the entire row alongside the tent blocked the view. And 3 lighting towers in the middle of the mound?? They were too close to the stage; every single bulb reflected on the screens and it was so distracting. It almost looked like the stage mgmt team worked their butt off to block the view from every angle with full force. I have been to hundreds of concerts in my life (both work and hobby) & this is easily the top 3 worst stage setup I have ever experienced, especially for a multiple-day concert. I enjoyed the performance, and the girls were killing it, but I will never go to Citi Field for a concert ever again.

  12. I went to a concert at a baseball stadium a few years ago and told myself never again. The nets are awful and the diamond shape makes the stage so far away. Sorry you had to learn the hard way too 🙁

I enjoyed it from my seats, thought Citi field is a solid venue, but yes when I saw the configuration it was gonna be annoying as hell for some seats. I think its a hit or miss type of thing.

  14. Just be happy they don’t come to Amsterdam to the stadium there and you payed to see them there, all major artist go to the Johan Cruyff arena in the Netherlands because it’s one of the biggest music venues here. But God damn it’s bad, the sound is absolutely horrible. If you are at ground level you just hear the same song come by 4 times with more delay everytime, and if you are in the stands the sound quality is absolutely horrible. I’d rather have my view slightly blocked than absolute garbage sound.

Concerts who go to that venue should be mandatory half priced just for the god awful sound. But then again artists don’t care, they get payed, their agency doesn’t care they get payed, and same for the organizers.
