I’ve been an EXO-L since 2015 – literally grew up with EXO. I’m 18M now, and I’ve spent my whole childhood watching their shows, concerts, and performances. EXO has been my comfort and my inspiration through everything.
But honestly….I don’t know what happened to all the EXO-Ls. Where did everyone go? Seeing the views on their songs these days really hurts🥲
Yeahhh, I know views aren’t everything, but it still makes me sad. There was a time when every MV used to hit millions so fast – record after record, trend after trend – and now……🙂
Do you guys also feel the same? Like we’re losing that old spark of the fandom?

I don’t think as many people care about exo’s solo activities as they do the group. a lot fans just check out when exo isn’t active.
side note, I’m so surprised jongdae’s video has that many views. he’s my ult and I’m so proud.
Yeah, so many have left. Nothing lasts forever. They have their adult lives to worry about now.
Personally, I’m just more into group stuff. I just don’t prioritize checking out solo stuff. It’s the same thing with other groups I like.
i such a chen fan…will always follow him no matter where/when
I think it’s more of a fatigue from years without group promotions or activities. But yeah, i get it, other groups with solo acts have more energy than this.
The fandom is at its strongest for group comebacks and activities, and we had 2 of those in the past 6 years. The past year has been back to back to back of solo releases, it’s impossible to hype 4 cbs in a month like we had this past September (and then came Xiumin after that).
Western artists aren’t dropping music once a year, yet exo soloists (several of them) are. It’s oversaturation of the market, at the end of the day they are competing for the same market and the same people’s attention (the exo-l fandom).
I follow mostly SM groups, and it’s not just an EXO issue –a lot of SM content struggle with views compared to the other companies. SM is really lucky though, that most of their groups manage to form solid fanbases that will support their groups in other ways.
For EXO in particular though, a lot of the solo MVs really struggle with views, but thankfully for other avenues (conerts and merch), they’re still pretty high up in terms of selling power.
