Some of their stage instrumentals are genuinely the most cinematic instrumentals I’ve ever heard and their potential just gets hidden…

Last year’s Accendio performance with the brass in the instrumental was SO EPIC, I can’t believe I’ll never get to hear this again lol (https://youtu.be/PA952V4t-4o?si=N-PSO2Z64BhCObat).

And this year’s XOXZ performance at MAMA with the strings??? Literally took the song and gave it an IVE touch. (https://youtu.be/sPDWTM_vjZ8?si=qBHSTFnfq3_DLp48)

Last but not least… I’m forever bitter about Off the Record’s teaser not being the actual instrumental (https://youtu.be/-D55EnPV0GQ?si=mHwndg9sv83XrpSn). ILLIT went viral recently for their “Do the Dance” instrumental, dare I say Off the Record could have been that too?

what do y’all think of these versions?

  1. I believe that real orchestras tend to be very expensive options for recording studios in comparison to digital orchestras. While it is certainly richer in sound, you’d have to ask yourself whether the “juice is worth the squeeze” in terms the format that you experience music.

Also, HYBE has a lot of money to throw. Starship is famous, but nowhere near HIBE terms of resources
