  1. Ooh that’s not good. Not good at all

    (Am I cheering? Kind of)

And I low-key love the Dizzzy about out lol

Another FAFO case. What did they expect after nuking so many of their groups and lowering morale by discarding the original founder?

  3. I swear this company was just a pump and dump. RBW got lucky with one semi-successful group in mamamoo. Went public during the peak of the stock market craze + peak of the kpop bubble. The company IPO’d for almost $300m+ USD at the time, which is absolutely absurd. And then idk made a bunch of poor decisions while having cashed out ig? Talk about generational timing and luck.

I’m sure the founders are laughing their way to the bank while the company bleeds a slow death.

I can’t believe Dizzy is a source in this story LOL. He works at the local K-Pop shop.

Truly one of the dumbest and most poorly run companies ever. Striking gold with mamamoo was only going to carry them for so long as they just kept making terrible decisions. A similar story to MLD.

The wording is hilarious for some reason also I haven’t been paying attention to anything so I’m hella lost

honestly wonder what’s going to happen to onewe as they’re one of the groups that actually renewed their contract

  8. Purple Kiss is just such a generational fumble in so many ways. I would still like to know if they’re still under contract or not, for their sake I hope not.

I’m just so disappointed in RBW. They had such talent in that agency, from Mamamoo, to Oneus, to Purple Kiss, all through out their subsidiaries. They didn’t bother to try to nurture this talent, and apparently just straight up gave up on Purple Kiss after Sweet Juice which is just…..insanity to me.

I don’t know Oneus enough, but I know Mamamoo has also pretty much had to fight tooth and nail for what they have. Losing two members of your flagship group really speaks volumes, especially when 90% of the fanbase was actively cheering for Hwasa to leave RBW. Pnation has seemed to let Hwasa be herself and release music on her terms, and that seems to be what she needed. Whatever they’re doing, it’s working.

I hope RBW doesn’t squander the chance they have been given with this Mamamoo comeback and actually treats them well throughout it. They will get my money in whatever form they want it, but they better use it in a way to treat future and existing artists better. It’s not even freaking hard, they have literal self producing idols. God. Ugh.
