    edit: naming their comeback album “arirang” and going back to their korean roots makes me think of them releasing idol after all the accusations of them being too western.

    Immediately looked up meaning of Arirang and it’s a really beautiful word with a beautiful meaning and connection to S. Korea.

    Arirang is a Korean folk song and their unofficial national anthem according to Google. Pronounce it ah-ri-rang (아리랑) and the a sounds are all ah.

    I think I’ll stick to one CD version and the group vinyl I find prettiest. I‘m not really a fan of member versions tbh, but I get why they’re doing it

    simultaneous LP release instead of maybe a few months or even years later i used to pray for times like these as a vinyl enthusiast

    still gonna get at least one CD version for the inclusions and completion and trying to decide which LP version i’ll get 😋

    Love the album title–so fitting for the idea of BTS going back to their essence, and their performance of Arirang is among my favorites.

    I had to get my eyes dilated this morning, so when this announcement came out I had to wait because I couldn’t see. Seems I didn’t miss much, and no I definitely wasn’t terrified my sight was fully gone when I saw the blank images…

    It’s only 25 bucks for most of the vinyls??? Amazing 👏🥳 Everyone was thinking they’d be $50 like the previous vinyl releases, but it looks like only the deluxe vinyls cost that much.
