    edit bc i still can’t believe im looking at lay’s face rn dancing next to other members.. it’s been a very long near decade. obviously there’s a lot of mixed emotions watching this, but as a 2014 exo-l who’s been on this sub since its rebirth in late 2014 and spammed my xingmi despairs on here throughout the years, it’s definitely healing that part of me ❤️‍🩹

    someone mentioned not loving the aesthetics which i do agree with. too green-screeny i think, imagine how much harder the mv would’ve gone with the same dedication to physical sets like obsession.

    Sehun? The flow rap and vocals was sooo good, KyungSoo parts chef kiss, Kai giving everything

    SUHO’S HIGH NOTE, LAY DID IT AMAZING 😭💗💗👑 my boys camed for the crown and stayed because their are legends

    The shadows like forms following them, KyungSoo watching everything from above like in Monster, the blades at his back and becoming a statue after the sun touched him was amazing

    And Kai’s cape moving Superman like, the whole video has a lot of hints of details. I wish they can do a stage with Lay

    Suho was the crowned onew and does those broken statues are them from past living experiences or those who tried to take the crown and failed?

    Guys, they fighted Zeus and Suho won the crown UwU) 0 proof but not doubting at all

    Idk why I missed the way Chanyeol raps when I listen to exo and his solos 😭 happy that he opened the song. Sehun centered so much ❤️ and I really loved Lay’s voice in this.

    I’d love to see a dance version with them in their ‘royalty’ outfit and then in the black ones. I’m repeating this all night 🔥 exo really never disappoints.

    Anyway,slay,I love the royal concept,always had and always will

    For the b sides “suffocate” it’s that song for me and my top 3 is definetly:

    1)I’m home
    2)suffocate 
    3) moonlight’s shadows

    Tbh im so so so so sad that I dislike this 😭 I think this is the first time an exo title track is not on my Playlist and I probably won’t hear again. I also really disliked a lot of the “cgi”? from the mv. I feel like it made the vid look a bit cheap and Ai 😔 im just overall sad and disappointed but im still looking forward to the album! BTW im just saying my honest opinion last time I got downvoted 😭

    I am so happy that Chanyeol, Kai, and Yixing’s vocals shined in this album (although I’d appreciate more Yixing please).

    Crown sounds great but I had to watch multiple times since I couldn’t decide where to focus (translated lyrics? overstimulating mv visuals? the group? irdk)

    As for the B-sides, I love Flatline, then Suffocate and Moonlight Shadows. Crazy was really crazy with that sudden BPM change 😅

    Yes yes yes!!! SCREAMINGGG!! After the disappointment of the last 2 title tracks (for me, at least) EXO finally gave me a TT I love!! Everything I could ask for!!

    It’s everything I hoped for. EXO IS BACK 😭😭 the MV was overwhelming but the more I watch the more I get it and the load of effects kind of makes up for the last two years. Also I need EXO-L detectives to analyze the MV with me (like D.O with 3 knives in his back). Love the “coming for that” part and the oh oh oh oh oh oh gives me goosebumps, Kai in a cape is straight out of my sexy dreams, SUHO in white is the King, oh I love that EXO is back

    This is a harsh but honest to my core comment. You can downvote but trying to argue with me will be in vain, I don’t care what you think of my opinions on this matter.
    I personally hate this song. I absolutely love songs like Machine, Mama, Let Out The Beast but this song is just New Gen Noise Dump and not a well produced, fun to sing along song like the ones I listed. The MV CGI is so bad it’s up there with Don’t Fight The Feeling for me on the list of WORST EXO MVs. It’s looking better cause they used darker colors this time. Like how are you gonna have the best vocals and visuals of K-POP under your sleeve and have them do mediocre stuff like this? Their fan base is 30+ now like how did they think this would appeal to us? Oh yeah it’s probably because how most of this fandom love babying their 30+ rich ass idols and eat whatever they put out up even if it’s garbage and bully fans that raise constructive criticism about them out of the fandom. I bet the responds to this comment also will be full of people thinking me raising my not positive or sugar coated opinion here is hating EXO lmao

    Not my favorite title track of theirs, but I can see the promotions being fun with the crazy choreography. At the end of the day, I’m glad the group is back in some form.

    Definitely falling in that SMP style track, but even as someone who really likes SMP titles, this one is just *fine*. It’s nothing too crazy or out there – and feels a bit safe tbh. They’ve had much better showcases, but I’m glad they’re dancing hard. Definitely need to see the full choreo.

    The line distribution and vocals are good. You can definitely feel the CBX gap – you just can’t substitute those voices. Still, it was nice hearing Lay get multiple lines after many years, though his inability to promote/perform with the group again is disappointing.

    The MV is genuinely one of, if not their outright worst IMO. Overly green screened, overly AI – just feels cheap. Compare this to Obsession’s special effects – hell, compare it to Monster’s practical effects – it’s like night and day.

    Can’t help but feel like SM cheaped out (in many ways) on what should be the grand return of EXO.

    I like the song, but honestly the music video is a bit overwhelming to watch so I have a feeling I’ll enjoy Crown more once I give the full album a listen 😅

    They did such an amazing job! I’m neutral to the song. It isn’t my jam, but it isn’t bad. I wish SM put more effort into the MV though. It doesn’t hold up the quality I’m used to with EXO MVs. I’m happy I’m enjoying the album more though!

    this feels like such an EXO song to me, especially 2012-2016 era. I never thought they’d make a song like this again (as a title) and I f with it big time.

    On first listen not my favorite song on the album, but I like it more than several other EXO title tracks.

    I think this is their best title track since Obsession (Adrian McKinnon has credits!), the chorus is probably the best part of the song, it kinda reminds me of Don’t Call Me by SHINee which is a song that reminds me of Overdose and Monster lol.
