Multiple members were also saying that IOI are planning something (precise wording from Somi was that they’d “booked some venues already”, as I understand it right now the plan is a 3 day special concert this spring) so it’d be cool if both the OG seasons had reunions at the same time, maybe filmed something quick together (I still remember after S2 both 1st placers of the season filmed a couple things together, that’s something I miss in the “Planet” series of contests). I’d say it’s a shame the I*ZONE girls are still way too booked for the same but it’s a very good problem to have for them.

Love seeing 3rd gen groups making comebacks this year including Wanna One! They were so huge since they debuted after Produce 101 season 2 almost nine years ago. At one point their popularity was pretty high, very close to BTS and EXO. I remember when I was in Seoul back in fall of 2017 I heard Energetic and Burn It Up in many places, and their Imnisfree ads were everywhere. I even saw a birthday poster for Daehwi at a subway station. I wasn’t that much of a Wannable throughout the time the group was active for, but I was even sad at their disbandment news.
