When they started counting down, it all hit me that this is the *beginning* of it all again and I started tearing up
Not me having to hold myself back from SCREAMING THE FUCKING FITS also me going WAIT IS THAT- because I watched freaking Riverdale lmao. LILI FREAKING REINHART YOU ARE THAT GIRL.
“salt on my tongue” god I am glad I’m seated because DAMN
ALL OF THEM AS SAILORS HAULING ON THAT ROPE I’M DYING

For the big comeback??? They couldn’t have given us any group choreography? It’s stay gold but less catchy… I fear this one is gonna be forgettable for me. Hoping the next tracks are better, and they have a track with some good dance to it.

Starting with the MV before diving into the album!
Honestly, not quite my cup of tea. I’m sure with a few more listens and diving deeper into the lyrics it’ll grow on me, but neither the song nor the MV caught my attention at first listen, and tbh I was hoping for something more impactful for a title track/first drop. (Also curse that meme about JK stealing YoonJin’s buttons THAT WAS ALL I COULD SEE EVERY TIME THEY APPEARED IN THEIR NAVAL UNIFORMS)

Regardless, idk if she’s supposed to be a representation of ARMY crashing out over Chapter 2 and the BTS hiatus, because like yeah… extremely fair. On the other hand, I adore the instrumentals so much. Just stunningly haunting. And all in English, but I’m not surprised it is.
Need more time to digest this, but I’ve really enjoyed it from the first listen alone. ARMY, we’re so back 😭🤚🏽

It sounded a lot like Jimin’s solo work to me, not that there’s anything wrong with that but also it sounds like a song one person would sing and not like a song meant for a vocal group
