They’re really leaning into the black and white fits, and I am here for it. Tae’s shoes. 🤭

(I know, I know, not the point of this post, but I can only look at the pic for now.)

  2. Bangtan I gotta go to work with after barely sleeping 3hrs. I can’t right now 😭😭😭

  3. yoongi again saying they can make it happen until they’re 80🤧💜 I loved zane saying ‘music is better when you’re here’ 🥹 this was such a good conversation/interview! 🙌🏻

  4. Beautifully done. Wonderful questions. The man didn’t even need notes. Jimin’s reaction after Zane asked him if he learned anything about himself in the military, you could tell he was like “damn, that’s a great question”. I’m amazed he thinks he needs to work *harder*, but okay.

  5. i really liked this interview. especially the “skr” at the end LOL they are still themselvessss

  6. Zane does such an amazing job of asking the right questions. BTS really is at that point that change is not an option but just the natural way to go. The fact that they acknowledge that all of them have different styles/preferences and need to put effort into finding common ground to make music is just so beautifully raw and honest. I think this sort of commitment is what sets them apart so much.
Also, just 2 mins into the interview, the silliness got me giggling lmao. So happy for them, us, and everyone who gets to hear the album!

  7. Also, their reactions when he said he had heard the album already, was quickly listing off his favorite tracks (Jimin told RM “he knows all the titles!”) and pronounced Arirang correctly were so cute. They were so impressed.

I loved the question about what Arirang means and how they’ve applied it to themselves. I’ve seen some people say the album doesn’t fit with the concept of Arirang, but I get it – the longing they had for their first chapter, to see the fans again, to continue their progression both personal and professional, and to make their country proud. This is them getting back to work and achieving all those things.

Zane’s interviews are unmatched, absolutely brilliant 👏 and I have to say Namjoon is more eloquent than me in English and it’s my first language 🥲 honestly in awe of that man!

I am such an emotional mess lol Zane Lowe is one of the best, most genuine interviewers I’ve seen and I’m so glad they did this. I can’t wait to see our 90 year old tannies living it up on stage together as 7🥹💜

Does anybody else feel like Jin looked kind of down and sad in both the Studio Notes and this? Whatever it is, I hope he’s okay.

This was such a good interview.

The questions asked by Zane were so thoughtful and the answers that the members gave were so sincere and insightful. I found myself tearing up a few times throughout the video because god damn, it’s really been so so so long since we’ve last had an OT7 group interview. It is really one of my favourite things in the world, being able to watch the boys interact so naturally with one another.

I am still in a bit of a disbelief that those cold winters, those long nights are finally over and our dawn is finally here 🥹🥹🥹

(Oh and I really love how they ended off the interview with a close-up shot of Namjoon’s beautiful dimple 🫠😍😍)

This was a fantastic interview. Great questions from someone who genuinely likes the guys and their music. And really interesting, insightful answers from the members. And classic Bangtan antics also (they were SO LOUD coming down that hallway 😭)

  13. Loved the part where RM mentions the fandom is growing alongside the members! Like yes it’s important to acknowledge target audience and changing demographics, but also considering the lived experiences various Armys have had throughout the years of being a BTS fan. It’s so thoughtful and really important for this new chapter!

Loved it when Yoongi said he doesn’t deal with social media much and wasn’t intentionally taking time away from the lives, it’s just how he is 💪🏻

  15. Such a great interview and it felt like a true ‘coming home’ of sorts — OT7, the whole ARIRANG concept, the union with ARMY. I loved how they spoke about their growth alongside ARMY, quoting elementary school kids now in their mid 20s.

I totally feel this having taken a ‘break’ during their enlistment, only casually following all the solos and life happens along the way (I have a child now!). This felt like ARIRANG for me. 💜🥲

I love it when BTS meets Zane and Jimmy Fallon. Both of them ask such meaningful and good questions, tailored so perfectly to the group. When watching these interviews, it is very visibly seen that they do their research well and then ask relevant questions.

Also BTS greeting each other after someone said there are lots of people to hug?? Absolute cutie pies.

It was a really good interview, as expected from Zane Lowe! He did his research, heard the songs and made them comfortable. It’s always good to watch our boys get interviewed by Zane.

    Edit: typo

namjoon’s answer about being a leader and how they can just tell when one of them is struggling with a simple look and they’ll help each other/pick up more weight to take care of the member who’s having a hard time 🥺 THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH

I feel better after watching the interview. Maybe the album feels better when listening multiple times.

What a great interview! You can always trust Zane, he doesn’t make it seem like an interview but make flow like a conversation instead.

I just hope going forward Joon doesn’t burden himself with speaking English all the time but instead speak in Korean. Of course, whatever he is comfortable in the most.

Loved this interview! Zane did such a great job making sure everyone had the chance to voice their thoughts by addressing each of them separately at one point or the other. I loved the part where he actually listed out song names, making it clear he had done his research and prep for this.

Namjoon is just so, so eloquent. Be it Korean, or English. I loved listening to him figure out what he wanted to say in real time, how he strings sentences together, the words he picks. The “Hu-sophone” joke was so silly, never change Joonie 😆

Things I found really insightful – why they decided to work with outside producers in LA (them being out of the scene for so long and wanting to keep up with the help of the best in the business), what ARIRANG encapsulates for them (longing, sadness, nostalgia) and what being a group means for them.

It’s so apparent throughout this interview how they are all very much on the same page. Like hobi says, they don’t even need to voice it out loud anymore. I loved the little moments of hyping each other up, genuine moments of appreciation and all the jokes and banter.

Seokjin immediately piping up with “It’s been too long to remember” when they started talking about their rookie years, SURE IT IS Mr. Kim *”I dont remember a thing”* Seokjin 😭

  22. Shout out to Jimin and RM’s “we are not physically prepared for this” solidarity. 🤝 😅

  23. NovelSea1845 on

I loved the interview. Zane was respectful, knowledgeable and comfortable with the guys. He drew out some of their insights that did not come out in the Live last night. I will rewatch because I am sure there are details I missed.

  24. God I just want to hug Namjoon so tight. What a beautiful soul.

Also such star power in this room holy shit (obviously). I’ve gotten so used to seeing them in their solo era and devoured those albums but to see them altogether again like this. It’s so cliche I know but it’s literally like the Avengers coming together. It’s almost too much for me now to handle. I loved them before and I love them even more now if that’s even possible.

Yoongi saying they wanted to try something new. Bravo!! I loved the new sounds they tried on the album.
