Ok – not sure why but the text was not posted with the images. Here is some context for the art!
I wanted to share something a bit unusual with my fellow NSWERs.
Over the past months, *Blue Valentine* became much more than an album to me. During a difficult personal/family period, I ended up listening to it every day, then writing a long song-by-song reflection around the first 10 tracks. What started as “I love this album” slowly turned into a 28-page personal analysis about heartbreak, rebirth, boundaries, maturity, and learning how to love better.
At some point, I felt I needed a physical way to anchor all of that.
So the project ended up becoming **two artworks**:
* The first piece is a more symbolic artwork about reconstruction, healing, and growth. For me, it represents what came *after* the blue: rebuilding, carrying scars differently, and turning pain into meaning.
* The second piece is the narrative companion: the *Blue Valentine* album itself, a few distilled lines inspired by each track, and some live memories from the concert. It’s more like an archive of the journey the album took me through.
One piece is the **totem**.
The other is the **chronicle**.
I know this may sound intense for “just an album,” but I genuinely think *Blue Valentine* is one of the most emotionally rich, beautifully performed, and meaningful projects I have ever heard. After seeing them live, the bond only became stronger.
So yeah — this is my little *Blue Valentine* corner now.
A way to keep both the music and the growth it accompanied physically present in my room.
Thanks to NMIXX for making art that can live this deeply in someone’s life.

Okay I absolutely LOVE the two-piece display. And the photocards in the 2nd piece, are those from their concerts? I fail to keep up with the photocard/album versions every time, for every group and hence my confusion.
All of this is just, simple yet so pleasing to look at, good job. .🩵💙
