I hate the groups name its just sooo bad, seriously anything would have been better than this. Idk it reminds me of unwoman from the handmaids tale, and regardless of the concept having child in the name is weird. I hope there are not actual children in the group. That being said the logoo and the colors are lovely, i really like them.

Everyone is complaining about the group name but I lowkey love it. It gives off a grungy vibe, like what an indie band might call themselves.
I’ll take a name like this over the numbers and symbols mess that has been popular recently.

I want to support STAYC’s juniors, but at some point I gotta draw a line in the sand with these group names combined with debuting mostly minors and I think this is my line 😭
UNCHILD is such a bad name to give a group of mostly minor girls (it’s a bad name in general, but especially in the context of the girls being young). I just can’t get behind it. I have the same issue with Baby DONT Cry (I was willing to look past the name until their debut MV teaser sexualized the girls, who are mostly minors, with the “teehee isn’t it funny the candy she wants to buy looks like a condom!” stunt). The names + the really young girls + how they tend to be treated is just an off-putting combination. I wish both groups of girls the best of luck, but I am not the audience for this. What a shame
