What do you think about the hidden track?


I saw people saying other's spoiled it for them, so I'm not even gonna say the name, but what do you really think about it? Was it worth releasing only on the Deluxe Vinyl?

My opinion: I personally really liked it! Especially the low humming and bass! It's SUCH a shame that it isn't included in the other physical versions….

    It’s my favorite track on Arirang. I’m sad I can’t listen to it on streaming platforms.

    Not surprised I love it. Prod. SUGA songs always hit.

    I like it. I can understand why it’s not in the official album, it’s a very different vibe. But I am always down for whatever music they give us

    I think that because it’s on the deluxe vinyl (which is a partnership with Target), the chances of it being released on streaming services in a few months are higher than if it were a hidden track on the regular albums. At least the bonus tracks from TS for Target are like that.

    I loved it. I think it’s my favourite in the album now, and I wish I could give them all a hug. Yoongi did so well with all the work he did, as did everyone else. It’s a different sound from the rest of the album, but holy heck is it good! The humming, the musical shifts throughout, it’s so GOOD.

    I think the right decision was made to keep it off of the album. It’s a good song but imo it doesn’t fit in as well with the rest of the album and the higher ups / group clearly understood that. But I’m glad we get to hear it and I would love for it be available on digital platforms in the future.

    I love it. Musically, I feel like it could have been part of the LY trilogy or the MOTS era.

    But geez the lyrics are devastating.

    Unfortunately, the deluxe version isn’t currently available in my country. Yes, I could order it on Weverse, but I’d have to pay triple the price. I really hope it becomes available on streaming platforms. The song is beautiful. I think it fits perfectly, both thematically and musically, with the album.

    I adore it. It should’ve been on the main album, it fits in narratively in the sequence from One More Night through Into the Sun.

    Love the song, it’s such a bop! Suga just really knows how to highlight the members’ voices well and something about the song sounds somewhat nostalgic. Also Hobi did NOT have to go that hard at the end, wtf that rap was so smooth!

    Sad we’re never gonna get it on streaming platforms 🙁

    Does anyone know where the sample in the background comes from? I feel like i’ve heard it in a different song before. My immediate thought was it could be a track on sinners, but I could be completely wrong.

    Just gonna say, emotional catharsis. Really opened up a lot of emotions I had been holding back or repressing and not realizing.

    I love it!! There’s a bit of dramatic flair to the production and the delivery of certain lines that I think would fit great in a stadium. I haven’t checked out lyrics properly yet, and i think that part is gonna elevate it even further for me.

    As to whether it fits on ARIRANG the album, honestly i can’t really opine on that unbiased since I’ve been listening to the 14 tracks top to bottom for the past two weeks and can’t imagine any change made to that. But i know the boys curated the tracklist very carefully, so I trust their vision that this is how it’s supposed to be.

    I’m just happy we have an extra song from BTS, how lovely. And that there is a good chance they’ll perform it live too!

    I hum the bridge every so often, just something about it. Beautiful song…but they have nothing to apologize for, and nothing to beat themselves up over. Hybe Boy’s video on it made me quite sad. It still says so much for their creativity and production standards that they could turn their feelings into this work of art 💜

    Im kind of upset that its only on the deluxe version of the album. Like I pre-ordered the album and a member vinyl, so now I have to buy ANOTHER vinyl bc I apparently bought the “wrong one”? (I say this as an army of 10 years btw, so I know hidden tracks arent new)
