Not Jimin suddenly telling Tae his nose is running and Tae continuing the interview with tissue stuffed up his nostril 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 2.0 BTS is just chaos.

The question about conflicts had conflicting answers 🤭

Edit : They actually gave so much thought on superbowl.. it might happen

Also, this is the first time i am seeing Jungkook questioned on seven explicit ver 😂 that too with members. This interview is gooooood

    >I wasn’t embarrassed,” Jung Kook says of the lyrics. “I just felt, ‘So what?’” But RM says he had to intervene to allow those lines to come out after execs got nervous: “I told the label, ‘Please don’t change! Why not? He’s all grown up. He can sing an f-word

i agree bc jungkook was like.. 26? he’s grown adult so he’s allowed to cuss. He’s not 5

  4. Such a good interview! Going up there with Zane and Hot Ones.

EDIT: Nearly finishing it and without a doubt this is the BEST interview during Arirang promotions, wow. Such compelling questions. Thank you Rolling Stone.

  5. Always so impressed by Joon and the way he skillfully navigates questions, especially in regards to their thoughts on performing at the Super Bowl. Even amongst ARMYs there’s a lot of divided opinion whenver this topic comes up. I like that he acknowledged that Bad Bunny singing completely in Spanish made sense in the larger context because he is American (even if there was still a lot of opposition to it), and he carefully brought up how they may consider collaborating on stage (like Coldplay did with Beyonce and Bruno), but he also doesn’t completely close the door on it by adding that if the sociopolitical climate changes in the future they may be open to it.

Ngl, was kinda confounded by the interviewer’s sudden redirection to asking them about how they thought about JK’s explicit lyrics in Seven. I was shaking my head initially but we did get some interesting backstory on the song and Joon’s insistence to BH to keep fuck in it so it didn’t end up being as bad as I thought it was going to be lol.

    fun bits

    * laughing at the way you can tell JK was starting to get bored towards the end 😂 the intense stare down at Hobi and the nodding 🤣
    * Tae’s nose running LOL.
    * Namjoon going “knock knock, pew pew, and bye” describing the message to the haters in 2.0 gave me life.

This is one of their best interviews yet. The edit is also super smooth without any lag for the translations happening in between.

The interviewer asked all the questions I had about the song camp ever since they mentioned that they made over a hundred songs then. I’m glad they get to keep all of it and we might get some of them for their future solo/ group albums.

    > We’re always making music for the moment. And if we can all enjoy the songs together, I think that’s worth it.

Hobi putting it out there in the most simple and beautiful way that BTS will keep evolving with time.

  7. Wow, hearing that Usher invited JK to the superbowl but it didn’t work out. That must have been tough.

Jungkook: We had no disagreements picking the songs 🌸🌹🥹 ☺️🌈🕊️

Jimin: The fuck you mean ⛓️😤😡🪦🔪

  9. Anyone who speaks Korean – were the subs accurate when Jin said “I heard that’s why [Jimin] gave a lot to this album” in reference to his vocal range? I didn’t understand what that means and I wonder if the translation is off.

  10. I am sorry but we didn’t forget that they sang Arirang 10 years ago!!! lol
E: I am really happy with their approach connected to Superbowl, very conscious thoughts.
It is so crazy that Jk was almost a performer

Did not realize there was a video version of the group interview because I was so engrossed in the article 😆 they all look so good, gave such great answers and were endearing as always! Tae, please never change hahah.

I’ve already said a lot in the article thread, so just a few thoughts

    – Jungkook only retaining positive memories about the album making process, thinking there was no conflict and everyone agreed on stuff, is so very JK 😆💜 even in the docu, he was always so optimistic and had full faith in the group. I love him so much!
    – Yoongi talking about how rap and vocals were blended and balanced well in the album OF COURSE. I saw you singing your heart out, Min Yoongi. You did so well! And live too. I’ve been so impressed by vocalist Yoongi.
    – I enjoyed the segment of JK having to *explain* the lyrics of Seven to his roomful of hyungs way too much 😆 Tae felt like he was teasing him a bit asking, “what was the original word again? Wasnt it FUCK?” Hahahahah
    – Their answers about the Super Bowl honestly felt like what the fandom feels too tbh. Some who are excited and think it’d be amazing, others more realistic on what it takes to get there, and those more cautious knowing how people can be. I think I’m with Joon on “perhaps someday, but not right now”.
    – Hobi’s answer about 2.0 was so interesting, because he didn’t just talk about the song but about their approach to performance these days, and I really hope people LISTEN. I’ve been seeing so many takes of “He’s a dancer, let him *dance*”, especially about him and Jiminie in regards to the tour. But I think people should also think about how that need not always be how the members themselves think. Hobi already proved it by releasing JITB back in 2022. **At this point in time**, with this era and album, this is the vibe and approach they want to take, and I think it would be easier for people if they made their peace with that.

They’ve said this in several of the recent interviews but it kind of came together to me in this one. They are not pretending that it’s easy to make this relationship work. They are all different and vocal so staying together is intentional and it takes compromise and sacrifice. Recognizing that there might be regret and bitterness, but the bigger picture (BTS together) is worth it. They may be successful solo, but they get to be in a league of their own as BTS and still grow and express themselves as individual artists.

  13. Personally not against them performing at super bowl, despite the fact that people are going to make it controversial, I will say though that if they do end up performing there… I hope they bring back the hard hitting choreo for the day. Shit would slap.

One of my favorite moments: when Jungkook was like, We had zero disagreements… and everyone turned to him like, what are you talking about???

Even when the members started detailing all the moments of conflict, JK was still like, No, that wasn’t conflict lol.

I noticed in both the doc and this moment how positive, and honestly a bit protective, JK is of the group. You’re not about to say something that could be taken as negative in front of him. He’s gonna stand ten toes down that it wasn’t a problem lol.

  15. Knock knock pew pew bye is iconic. Also Joon’s hair and really all the styling here is top tier. Tae, please never change.

This was a great interview but, I’m most impressed by the way RM answers questions. I never noticed it much before because most questions in interviews were very superficial and fun, but with this album rollout and the more in-depth interviews, he’s demonstrated such clarity of thought and ability to phrase those thoughts well.

It’s not his first language but I barely hear any filler words. Occasionally he can’t find the right word but he speaks very confidently, calmly and clearly. As a fellow multilingual person, I feel like I now struggle in all languages that I speak rather than speak one very well. To think he speaks better in another language!
