I was super happy with my DICON and was kinda surprised it was labeled as a "magazine". Does anyone know if any other "magazines" are more like photobooks? I saw there was Allure, Cosmopolitan, and Elle, but those looked like more traditional magazines with ads and articles (Please correct me if they're not).

Really there are only two serious ones to pay attention with Korea, the rest are random single magazines from China which exclusively cover an idol. Those you get from sites like hallyusuperstore at a premium markup price.
Dispatch Dicon and WWD Korea.
Dicons are the obvious, though they cost a fortune and depending on the style have a ton of weight.
WWD Korea is the one to watch. It’s labelled as a monthly yet they skip a ton of months for physical editions. You get between 10-20 pages of an idol, the rest isnt relevant, so only slightly more than usual for a magazine. The important bit though – page size!
They’ve decreased them lately with “shrinkflation” but the page sizes are massive still. 260x350mm according to a quick search.
That means it’s essentially a poster photobook. They are too big to go in a shelf so you have to rest them against the wall flat. The earlier editions were as big as aespa’s My World Tabloid version!

Those are magazines. Dicon is the only one I know that calls itself a magazine but is really a photobook. I have the Wonyoung one and the earlier IVE ones they did as well. They’re great! As far as I know any other photobook is usually published directly by the agency.
