  1. I lost my grandfather in February. It’s hard when you start losing people. Much love and comfort to Hobi.

  2. My condolences to his Grandma. The fact that he got to know about this as soon as he landed in Japan and still performed well at the concert…

This is so sad and heartbreaking. Praying for him and his family 🙁

I know in a lot of cultures, including majority of Asian countries, it’s so common for our grandparents to live with us and raise us all throughout our childhood. This definitely hits hard and close to home.

I couldn’t be more devastated if I tried. I hate that he has to feel anything sad ever, but dealing with loss and grief and having to perform two back to back shows without even 24 hours between is insanely hard and idk how he’s even still standing, much less putting on a performance of a lifetime with all this on his shoulders. Sending all my love to our hope and the Jung family. May her memory be a blessing.

I can’t begin to imagine the decisions celebrities have to make at times like these. He performed at his usual best, we wouldn’t have known if he didn’t mention it. Utterly gutted for everyone.

  6. >“I was in complete shock and honestly didn’t know what to feel, but being with the members, sharing a meal together and pouring myself into rehearsals helped ease that feeling more than I expected.”

i really hope that’s true, that the work is not a burden but a welcome distraction from the grief — if such a thing exists — supported by people who care about him 💔 rest in peace
