I really appreciated how honest she was about her approach to songwriting – how she has to balance her vulnerability with the different vibes of songs and even the difficulty of writing songs when you're on tour or constantly around other people. Then, there's also the deadline pressure of each comeback album that makes it hard to consistently contribrute lyrics (amongst other schedules theyre doing).
Writing is honestly such a non linear, crazy process but I'm so glad that Lily's so passionate to keep at it and that she wants to continue connecting to us through music. I hope like what Lily said, that we as fans continue to support her growth as an artist without putting too much pressure on her creative involvement in every project they make. Or in short, we hype up every NMIXX comeback anyways and just celebrate even more if they turn out to have songs made by the girls!!

Not sure if she told all of this in English as well, but I should really take the time to watch the whole thing now that complete English subtitles are available on channels like “PRINCESS JIN-SOL”, for exemple.

There are probably other idols that are similar but I just haven’t noticed. But from everything I’ve seen about Lily, she seems the most musically inclined of all the kpop idols, at least from the newer generations.
This goes to show how much she cares about her craft. She’s already an incredible vocalist and it’s more than enough for me to love her as an artist, but I’m really looking forward to her original songs. She always has introspective thoughts to share on live stream, and I’m sure her lyrics will be original and genuine as well 🙂
