  1. Over the years she has not been seen much interacting like other members have been.

Edit: I meant idol things like dance challenges. Of course she might keep her friendships on/off camera.

So bit difficult to believe that she wanted to, but couldn’t.

That said, it is totally ok for her to focus on her current acting career, than attend something of an High School Alumni Reunion project, it is not some great betrayal.
People can move on in life.

So best wishes to her and best wishes to them to succeed fantastically.

  2. Tbh this seems like the right decision for her, she was a fantastic idol, but it also lead to a lot of personal issues for her and her wellbeing. Never forget PD101 somehow making an entire segment about her invisible arm fat and then anouther segment praising her rapid weight loss – she was a teenage girl and we know from later interviews all this really did a number on her. She seems happier in acting and personally I’d rather her be happy and healthy than back for anouther round of dream girls!

    People can’t take it personally.

Its a massive bit of personal promotion no doubt, especially given she hasn’t been trending as a actress. Yet a lot of former idol actors try to make people forget they were idols to be taken seriously by peers.

Remember all the hate comments that “x trending active group member” is suddenly cast as a show lead even without acting experience or training.

Tons of idols even change their stage name when they move to acting.

So unless she has massive nostalgia for the project group a decade ago its a step backward if she wants to be taken as a serious actress.

  4. I’m sorry I’m not so familiar with IOI members and saw the trailer today. It’s 9 people. Who else is missing from this?

Ahh wait so she’s a member of IOI? I remember seeing her picture a few days ago and I recognized her as the sister from the KDrama Welcome to Samdalri, didn’t know she was an idol too, that too from IOI.
