    I feel like I got really into them just as they slowed down hard so I’m excited to get to enjoy a really full comeback with them. Their music is always so good.

    Does anyone know who the animator of this video might be? It’s quite gorgeous, but I’m worried from the way some of the frames moved, it might be at least partially AI-generated 🥲 Gen AI has gotten so good these days at generating cohesive video, it’s actually crazy. I understand that Mystic Story is strapped for cash right now AND that K-pop companies are embracing gen AI at very high rates AND that Mystic Story has used gen AI in the past for Billlie (e.g., their album covers for Of All We Have Lost era), so it’s quite plausible it was used here too, but man, it’s still a little sad to see, even if I’m slowly being worn down about caring about its usage so strongly. At the same time, I can’t help but be impressed by how quickly gen AI is improving 😭 Because except for a couple of places, particularly around the capybara creature at the end where it was pretty jerky, the animation was much cleaner than gen AI used to be able to do. Sigh. Makes me wonder if the other teasers were AI-generated, as well. It sucks, because the music? Excellent! The creative direction otherwise? Excellent! Maybe I will eventually have to stop caring so much, as it doesn’t seem that almost anyone else cares as much as I do 🥲
