i feel like she never really has a bad era. every comeback brings out a different charm from her, whether it’s performance, vibe, or visuals.
what’s your favorite era for kyujin?

just wanna know, when yall went to nmixx concerts recently, was it really rare seeing kyujin biases there?
cause kyujin popularity feels kinda stuck rn and hard to grow compared to other members.
and even kyujin bubble has the least subscriptions among nmixx members.
this fandom always active because people constantly talk about member pairings/dynamics, but kyujin pairings are so much lower compared to the others.
like for example, haewon got popular dynamics with lily, bae, sullyoon, jiwoo etc. and most of those pairs get treated like “couple” type dynamics by fans. but with kyujin, most of her pairings just feel more sibling-like to people.
cause the only kyujin pairing that’s actually pretty popular is with jiwoo, or even eunchae if we include outside groups.
example: kyujin and bae dance duo. what do yall think about it?
cause honestly i’m pretty sure if bae did the same duo with another member it would blow up way more and get way more rts/likes.
and from what i personally see, the reasons are:
kyujin barely gets those member moments that make the fandom talk. other members already have established dynamics or naturally create more moments together, except kyujin.
kyujin barely does livestreams, so there’s less content for fans to talk about. and last year she also had less variety show appearances compared to other members.
most kyujin biases don’t really push/promote her the same way other member fandoms do.

At the LA concert, the freebies that weren’t taken were Jiwoo’s by far.
How do you know she has the least bubble subscriptions? I don’t think bubble shows that.
This reply is going to probably be a lot more in-depth and longer than it has any right to be but I think I have some answers for you because I’ve wondered the same thing and I’ve thought about it quite a bit.
Favorite Kyujin Era? Blue Valentine. Just absolutely jaw-droppingly gorgeous.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that she probably was the least biased member at the LA concert, but I think it’s because of her lifestyle/dedicated personality. She *really* reminds me of Seohyun from SNSD. Even down to the whole growing as a vocalist extremely fast, being a perfectionist, living a healthy lifestyle, etc.. ***it kind of makes her a bit less relatable having her life together so much lmao***. Seohyun also was never really popular among SNSD stans except for the younger SONEs who looked up to her.

I don’t know where the number of subscribers is shown for bubble, but it wouldn’t surprise me because she just doesn’t post as much as the other members (other than Jiwoo), and when she does it’s a bit too cutesy lol.

I mean I think it’s just cause she’s the youngest by over a year so it’s kind of weird to couple her up with anyone other than Jiwoo? My favorite Duo is Haewon/Kyujin though. They have such a fun time every time they livestream together, and you can tell Kyujin really looks up to Haewon and Haewon adores and admires Kyujin.
She also denied kisses/skinship frequently with the rest of the members a bunch until she became an adult and now she’s kinda going with it more. So she’ll probably get into more ships with the other girls soon.

If we’re going to be completely honest here? It’s probably because people feel uncomfortable sexualizing her to the degree of other members. I know Haewon/Yoona/Jinsol/Lily/Jiwoo have all been thirsted after by a bunch of twitter NSWERs (most of whom are lesbians for some reason??? Why do they do all the thirsting?? I don’t know, but god bless them lmao) for quite some time. So they get pushed/promoted a lot, but Kyujin isn’t even 20 in international age yet, and doesn’t do a lot of sexy things (despite her saying she wants to, which just comes off as adorable more than anything tbh).

She seems to want to go on variety shows with her members more than by herself, which the other members seem much more comfortable doing. Haewon, Sullyoon, and Lily especially. Bae doesn’t go on variety much either unless it’s with another member, so I’d actually like to see them both do more content together.
At the concert in LA she definitely stood out to me though, she was genuinely beautiful and never faltered in performance for a second. It was amazing to watch her perform! She wrecked my bias spot the hardest with her energy, beauty, and *her amazing vocals* my god her vocals in person are absolutely insane.
As much as it doesn’t bother me because I don’t really care what people think of me because I know I’m not some weirdo, there’s a pretty big contingent of us Older men in the international fandom (I can’t believe I’m calling early 30’s ‘older’), and Older men into kpop get a (often deserved) reputation as creeps, and to people less confident in their self-image and not wanting to be called creeps, it would open them up to that kind of comment and sentiment even moreso when their bias is the maknae.
I think she has a lot more biased fans than people think, but they usually keep to themselves for any number of reasons listed in your post and in this comment! Personally, after the concert I went from a slight Yoona bias to all 6. It just feels wrong to have a bias in this group for me, I love them all and they all have their own unique charms that hit me in the heart! Kyujin I think will gain popularity soon, kind of like how Jiwoo did during Blue Valentine, where suddenly she wasn’t just jokingly Miss Korea but she went viral for her looks. I think Kyujin will be on that same path soon, maybe even for this comeback!!!
I’ll go with FORWARD. Kyujin is the focus of that comeback in the lore so she gets a lot of screentime, and her vocal part on High Horse is just ***chef’s kiss***

As to your other question, I’d say there was a decent amount? It’s hard to actually quantify as I didn’t ask the other 2000 people at the Paris concert who their bias was, but the crowd always got loud for her. Granted, we were loud all the time, because french nswers are crazy lmao. But I think I heard someone yell “Kyujin je t’aime” a few times tho.
Based on the crowd’s reactions, I’d say Lily and Jiwoo were the most biased, and Bae the least.
I like era for Kyujin where she has “edgy” styling so thats See that and Dice for me
