once again, why are episodes now so short, especially for something as epic as their comeback live 🥲
that aside, in their recent behind videos, i have really appreciated seeing the members voice out their opinions on how to make their performances better. they are such seasoned pros now and it shows in how they take charge. i was curious to see how they worked out namjoon’s parts since he got hurt so close to d-day, so i’m glad that footage was included.
i just love this 6-foot tall aegyo-loving cutie so much 🥰

God they did such a good job handling Joon’s injury. Must have been so heartbreaking for him but also stressful for them all making adjustments in such a short time.
Edit – also Jin putting that mask on perfectly here both cracked me up and broke my heart – our little hooligan 🥹

You’re telling me they did rehearsed on site and no one saw them??????

I was hoping they’d mention how the injury happened, not that we need to know of course but I am curious.

Hobi is super involved in the way their stages are executed, it’s so nice to see that side of him in these sketches.

Me at the end of every BTS related video -> “Gosh I love them so so much 😭”
This was amazing! For BTS 2.0 era, their behind the scenes videos are so much less invasive. By that, I mean they are simply there to film things that happen without needing anything from the members, no greetings or interview moments, nothing. Less idol-like, in a way. And i love it! The boys don’t need to psych themselves up in any way, to play up anything, but can focus 💯 on their job, which is to practice and perform their music. And that’s where they shine the most 💜
Joon being completely fine even till the final full scale rehearsal makes his injury even more heartbreaking 😭 The members in that practice room right afterwards, was one of the most fascinating and interesting things I’ve watched as their fan. They were fully in “crisis control” mode, with less than 2 days to figure it out. No small talk, going through every section, detail by excruciating detail. The professionalism just shines here. And after this, I completely understand why Netflix struggled with some of the camerawork despite rehearsing so thoroughly. They were trying to avoid filming Joon’s movements on and off stage and find new angles.
D-day was really so nerve-wracking 🥲 even knowing it went well, i could feel the tension through the screen. Hobi going through the setlist rapid fire in his “no nonsense” dance captain voice, then closing it off with the brightest smile (*how not to love this man helplessly??*). Yoongi helping Joon down the stairs at the end, them always greeting staff and dancers so warmly, Jin and his “it was an honor to finally perform for you again” 🥹💜 every little thing adds up to why i believe they’re at the very top.
