I thought for a really long time about how to even begin.
I always wanted to show you only my best self on stage, so it weighs heavily on me to be sending my greetings through a letter like this.
After a long period of reflection, I’ve recently decided to bring my activities with Latency to a close and to end my exclusive contract.
The moments of playing the drums and standing on stage, and all the moments I shared with you, will stay with me as precious memories I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.
But over the course of continuing these activities, I became very worn down and struggled with my health, and I’ve come to feel that I need some time to take care of myself for a while. This wasn’t an easy decision, which makes it all the more careful one, and I feel deeply sorry toward everyone who has cheered me on.
Even so, thank you sincerely for believing in me and supporting me all this time, and for being there with me through every moment.
It’s because of you, the fans, that I was able to hold such truly happy memories.
I ask that you continue to give the Latency members lots of support going forward, and I’ll do my best to take care of myself and return in a healthier state.

I feel so bad for orbits and the members and everyone involved.
also being down a drummer is rough af. its early on so she can be replaced or they can always use a session player but Hyunjin is like a big reason why some ppl check out / stans the group.

Ultimately her health is of the most importance and I hope she recovers well!! LATENCY is still booked for a lot of events so I hope this won’t hurt their momentum and they can bounce back!!

Drumming is is incredibly physically intensive. There’s no real way to push through it if you’re feeling physically unwell or exhausted. It’s a shame her health is preventing her from continuing and I hope she recovers well.

Literally said “what the fuck?” out loud when I read the headline
While I’m not a huge rock band music kinda person, I was really happy for her and the other girls as it seemed like they were off to a good start in terms of recognition and making a name, as a new band, for themselves.
I hope she’s not feeling disappointed in herself or anything, especially since she was pretty instrumental in curating this project. And may she feel better soon enough!! 🙁

Devastated to hear! She basically bought this project together so I’m really sad that she has to step away. I was a fan of cignature but Hyunjin was the reason I got around to checking out the debut during release week. I wonder if she has anyone in mind to replace the drummer role?

Well that’s really unfortunate. Was just watching the video they made with Rolling Quartz where they were talking about their duo concert, and first international show in Taipei. Hope this isn’t a big blow to the group.

Man this sucks, she really seemed to like the band and was happy that it wasn’t just a 1 and done thing like Todaya. But I feared something like this would happen with the band and the football show with both quite demanding phisically. Hope she takes the rest she needs

Fortunately joint issues (knee) are a big problem for drummers. It is possible that Hyunjin may have also picked up bad habits in drumming that damaged her health.
Qwer chodan is a drum major but even the major constant playing still injured her and she was even see in extreme pain after concerts. It was bad until she had to take a break. Hope hyun jin takes care.

being an orbit is not for the weak. i’m glad she is putting her health at first. knowing that hyunjin is a resilence person i know she’ll do her best. i’m just so sad that her and the rest of loossemble don’t seem to have any luck in the industry. they deserve the best 🙁
