I’m saying goodbye to my dog tomorrow and have been distracting myself as much as possible but I know I need to feel the pain.
What songs are good for the grieving process?
I’ve found that Into the Sun is freakishly applicable to my situation. “You fall, I run…I’m ready to be with you. I’ll follow you into the sun.”
Also Magic Shop and Spring Day
Any other songs you think are applicable? My brain isn’t functioning the best right now.

I personally listen to Let Go, Magic Shop, and Mikrokosmos if I need a good cry.

Firstly, I’m so sorry to hear about your pup.
The most fitting song is “Tonight” (이 밤) by Jin. I vaguely remember that it was written in memory of his pet sugar gliders that passed away. As someone with pets, the lyrics hit very hard.
I’m so so sorry. It’s just not fair we don’t get to keep them longer.

I listened to Winter Bear, Christmas Tree, Abyss, Tonight, and Alone basically on repeat last fall when I was experiencing some losses. Blue and Grey is also a good one.

It’s an immense loss you’re dealing with, and wish I could say it gets better, but personally after all these years after losing my childhood friend, I still have a Australian Terrier shaped hole in my life. Hey OP, I’m so sorry to hear. I lost my best friend George last October and I couldn’t be there with him when it happened. He was 13 and was the bestest boy.
I kept listening to Tonight by Jin for obvious reasons, but Winter Ahead started playing one time and I just burst into tears.

“Blue & Grey” meets you where you are. It doesn’t uplift and it will make you cry harder. But it’s vibe really hits you in the heart.
