    OH MY GOD!!!! I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE AHHH

    Also genuinely crazy to think how far they have come. The AMAs was their first debut on american television back in 2017, they were so nervous to be there, they didn’t have any roadmap to follow, Yoongi was so nervous and he called Tablo to get advice from, they were all nervous tbh and yet they totally killed that performance and the DNA performance is what got me and so many others into BTS back then. And now here they are, bagging their second AOTY at the same award show 💜💜 so freaking proud of them, they deserve this and more.

    Lol! And people really thought anyone else had a chance? BTS is literally running Vegas right now. This is their award show.

    I’m not even an Army but my sisters and nieces are and we went to Vegas for two shows at Allegiant Stadium and BTS literally has the city in a choke hold. They’re lighting up hotels in red and shooting fireworks.

    The city is filled with Army and they bought up all the tickets for the AMAs and BTS was the special guest for tonight. They were always going to sweep up this award show.

    Sidenote: the show was fantastic. Even if you’re not a fan, go! It’s a crazy fun experience.

    Huge win! To come back and win again years later after hiatus with an album like Arirang…I am really proud of them and ARMY

    DESERVED!

    Congrats BTS! They had other big artists releasing albums and songs one after the other but Arirang and BTS remained/remain on top!

    I’m really happy for BTS!! I was a baby ARMY when I watched them win Artist of the Year at the AMAs in 2021, and their performances then were their first with a live audience since the start of the pandemic! To see them have this massive comeback since their military service feels so right! I’m just so happy for them!!!

    Serves as a reminder that you don’t have to be American to be nominated for an AMA. It’s based on what music the American population considers “best” not what nationality the artist is
