this is so insane; i’m so pleasantly surprised!! with aespa, IVE, and idle having massive issues in selling out their tours , I was worried Katseye wouldn’t be able to sell out their tour either, but they surprised me in a good way. They also toured last october, so it’s even more crazy that they can still sell out arena’s so fast. they’re honestly the biggest girl group in the US right now.

Yeah, my locations were sold out during presale. Resale prices are ridiculous. So, guess I’ll miss out, but I’ll be watching until last moment for a price drop.

I think another thing, is that unwarranted hate can really make a fandom lock in & want them to succeed even more.
Plus, internet discourse doesn’t always reflect reality. So many times people talk 💩about one group, but are still streaming their songs despite their claims their music sucks.
Katseye has a very diverse fandom too. Kids love katseye too. My half sister who’s 12 is obsessed with them.

People really have underrated how big Katseye actually is in the US. I’ve seen people saying that they will dispand and other bs, but if they are this big without barley doing anything so far, no chance they are dispanding any time soon.
Spotify is a mainly Western app and If you look at their monthly listeners on Spotify you will see just how big they are in comparison to other groups that people think are bigger than them. Because they are only second to BTS in terms of monthly listeners in kpop.
